BIT review.

Likes

Placements are best in core sector, and i adore it too much.
BEE faculty is best. He teaches the best of my knowledge.
Library is asset here, all sort of books are available.

Dislikes

The distance between the hostel and academic building is too far and there no transportation facility inside the campus.
No wifi campus, which is a major problem here.
No food delivery possible such as swiggy zomato etc

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. There are a lot of companies visiting such as Wipro, tata steel, cognizant, Infosys, Vedanta, capgemini, anms, etc. In the core sector vedanta provides around 16lpa. And Tata Steel provides around 11.5lpa. 95 percent of students are getting placements. There are 2 3 branches left with no placements such as civil and production.

Likes

I liked the placements of bit sindri,the placement is almost 100% for all branches including metallurgy,cs,it, production
Campus of this college is eco friendly and pollution less.
All faculty members, courses and infrastructure is nice

Dislikes

There is no enough hostels that's why we have to share rooms with 3people
We always eat same food every week

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the placement of metallurgical engineering is 100% on this campus. All the faculty members are nice, they are interactive with all students and they have problems solving skills.

Likes

In our college, campus selection is good
Senior ar very good and the help alot everything
In our college fee structure is too minimum

Dislikes

Infrastructure is developing and hostel have to improve
Mangement is not working properly little bit
Some seniors are to rude without any reason

Course Curriculum Overview:

In today's generation, there is a high demand for developing infrastructure due to which I took civil engineering, our college faculty-student ratio is 1:10, and almost every faculty is Ph.D. cleared in our college exam has tough checking criteria.

College campus is great so large can explore
Piya Milan chowk ,best place heard it's name is great
Admin building it's infrastructure is great

Dislikes

Wearing patiyala is worst in first year is worst
Many restricted areas for first year but like to visit
It's overall great only these things I dislike

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester itself, the placement starts. Many companies visit our college and the highest package is fourteen thousand I guess I want to get college placement in core with my branch as it's a great side I look now.

Lush green campus all over the area and good infrastructure

From the 6th semester, a student is able to campus placements and there are many big companies that visit to college like Tata Steel and Vedanta, etc. offers made are around 680-690, the highest package is 44 lakhs around 99% of students get placed.

college has very low fee stucture for the student .
placements of core as well as it tech is very good.average placement is around 8 lakhs.
seniors of our college is very helpful and supportive.

Dislikes

infrastructure of college is low ,needs to get boomed
college is 23km far from dhanbad and road connectivity is not so good.
in first year and seond year hostel one has to live in 4 sharing rooms

In today's world, there is a vast demand for steel and infrastructure which attracted me to take metallurgy. The Faculty-students ratio is 1:10. Almost every faculty has completed their Ph.D. degree. The teaching method is good. Every exam is taken timely and it is difficult to pass the exam.

Most affordable college

I liked the faculties and seniors support.
I also liked placements and presence of club, societies for better development.
Also liked the hostel life here and interection with seniors.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very large but many land is not utilised properly.
Some rules only for first year I don't like this.
Some people which are working bodies of college are not good.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for college placements. Many companies visit like tata steel, JSW, TCS, NINJA, Samsung, Mahindra, etc. The highest on-campus package is 21 lacs and in off-campus, it is 50 lacs. approx 85 % percent of students get placed. I am planning to get placed after my degree.

Bit sindri overall good college.

Likes

Good infrastructure and accomodation in college.
There are various clubs and societies for activities.
Good placement in college and internship opportunities.

Poor hostel fooding and sanitary system.
Water shortage problem all around in college.
Electricity problem and lack of park in college.

The placement Statistics of Computer Science Engineering is 100% for the batch 2022. The highest package offered was 44 Lacs per annum by Amazon and the lowest was 3.5 Lacs offered by TCS Ninja. Although the average package was 12 Lacs for the branch. The top recruiters include Amazon, Samsung, Google (off-campus), Cognizant, Wipro, Tata Steel (hire for teaching role), and TCS.

This review is based on a student from first year mechanical engineering which has done workshops and labs

Likes

It’s affordability The office is very very low and you get a good chance to get scholarship.
Well equipped labs and technical equipments in the college
Helpful faculty members and their availability at any time

Dislikes

It’s sports facilities or a much of degrade
It has a bit of senior junior culture, but there is no ragging in that
As this is an open campus, animal grazing is a bad influence

From the sixth or fifth semester, the students get eligible for campus placements and the company starts visiting them. In the fifth and say semester students give their give internships and in which they get people to use NPP respectively. In Our very much summer, Vedanta, Tata Steel, lesson, and Turbo The highest package given last year was 52 lakhs and the average is about eight students getting placement is about 90%. And after getting the degree to get into a good business school to do an MBA.

PLACEMENT OF CORE BRANCHS AS WELL AS IT BRANCHS IS VERY GOOD.
The fee is affordable of this college which can afford by poor students.
Seniors of this college is supportive and cooperative.

Dislikes

The college is far from Dhanbad college is approximately 23km far from Dhanbad city.
The road connectivity of this college is not good.
Network connection of this college is so poor and there is no wifi in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen the civil engineering branch because it's my choice and I want to get a government job. The ratio of teachers and students is 1:10in this college. All faculties all well qualified and all have done a PhD. The teaching method of all faculties is a good and easy way. They teach us with an example and with practicals. All exam is taken on time and the exam is so difficult and there is no easy to pass the exam.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.

The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.

The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
