As i already tell you about the college placement services there s a great opportunity for you to place in high school as a elementary teacher m the salary package is so good and depends on the schools .
There are scholarships which are provided to students when their marks are appropriate and things like that.
I love the infrastructure. it is made of beautiful red bricks, bringing with it the typical du vibe. also has a beautiful field, which is the students' favourite in cold winter months.

Dislikes

My classmates were bitchy as hell. Very jealous and very fake.
The infrastructure is not very great rather it's on the negative side
The infrastructure is very bad, the washrooms especially are not clean. There is very less space, students often don?? get rooms. The campus is really small, however, a new building is under construction and may be functioning by next year.

Terrible life at Gargi College

Likes

The food offered in the canteen was somehow fine. I won't say that it was the best I've had but it was decent and tasted average.
Non teaching staff was very helpful and always helped me.
The college building is well maintained. Cleanliness is given importance.

Dislikes

Washrooms were terrible. Some of them didn't have a lock.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Zoology is a great course but I'll suggest that only those students should take up this subject who are actually enthusiastic about this subject. The course includes subjects like physiology, anatomy, non-chordates, chordates, genetics, cell biology etc.

Gargi- A Diverse Universe

Talking about the faculty, the teachers and department heads were really helpful in covering up my syllabus.
The multiple clubs, events and activities happens throughout the year that makes attending college in such a vibrant environment more fun.

Dislikes

Canteen food was very basic and felt artificial.
Sometimes the curriculum becomes too vast to cover.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a political science student I felt the syllabus was vast but necessary. We learned about multiple political philosophers and their diverse ideas on varying concepts, we studied the international arena now and in the past, we went through deep analysis of Indian and international thoughts, and much more. The exam is conducted the same throughout the university. It is neither too difficult nor too easy but it is way too lengthy to be able to complete 4 big answers in mere 3 hours.

Dear Gargi College, Delhi University.

Likes

Firstly the college has a vibrant campus life with different types of societies and clubs catering to various interests such as drama, dance, placement cell, sports, etc etc.
Gargi has some cool canteen stuff and food there is also very good. I personally like to have dosa. It’s very affordable too.
More importantly the students safety is also managed nicely and college always make sure that there is no discrimination against students in the college

Dislikes

Gargi does not have on campas hostel facilities which can be a drawback for outstation students.
Outstation students can go for pgs near the college but they are quite expensive

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the campus placement s from the 5th semester of their undergraduate program. Several reputed companies visits Gargi College such as deloitte,TCS,KPMG,EY,wipro,genpact. The highest package offer was 21 lakhs and the average packages offer was 5.35 lakhs it all varies each year and depends on factors like company, role etc Gargi College generally maintains a high placement rate,with a significant proportion of students securing job offers during campus placements. My plan after getting the degree is that for one whole year i will be joining the workforce and then i will do the MBA in product management.

A happening college life

Likes

The first thing i have always liked about my college are the red walls and open infrastructure. The vibe as soon as you enter college
The societies of the college are very active and you can see various collabs between societies happening regularly.
Library is something where i spend a lot of time and it's peaceful to be there. You can also find cultural events happening

Dislikes

The washroom is something one would always compain about in our college. They are not properly built
Water coolers are built just beside washroom leading to students washing there hands in them so it feels weird to drink water from it

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is pretty active. We get updated for internships almost everyday which gets circulated among us through our groups. Every year there also happens an internship fair where company recruits people based of their CVs through interview. This fair also gives opportunities to each stream and various interests of students. At the end of the year our course provides placement opportunities among schools,mostly private schools .

The enviroment of my college campus is just like wow..we got lots of opportunity to engage in different activities ..we got chance to show our skills abilities through fifferent competition and programs. We met with so many different people .
The faculty is just awesome there is a connection between teacher and student is so good . The student centered learning makes is more enganing for us .

Placement Experience:

Mostly students got job after completing this degree. Maybe in government sector or a private sector. The schools like amity , red roses , and so on.

Gargi Vibes!

Infrastructure was best. Caffertaria ,proper washroom, drinkable water everything is there.
Fest - Gargi fests are the things that I liked the most
Staff was very supportive. Teachers and administrative staff everyone was there to help you

Dislikes

Canteen was not proper every year there's a change.
Water coolers are there but sometimes they ar working and sometimes they are not.
I don't like the environment of my classroom. It's in old building

My course provide me to broaden my perspective in the field of teaching and education. It's a course related to teachers education. So I think there no need of any improvement things are well planned and curriculum gives us opportunity to explore all the horizons.

An insight to Gargi College

Likes

The sports council and sports department is great and very enthusiastic towards what they do.You also get coupons daily for the canteen which save expenses.
Societies are very active. Every other day there's some kind of event going on.
The faculties are great too with sufficient experience and knowledge

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not very great rather it's on the negative side
Canteen used to be very unhygienic although it's getting better

Placement Experience:

Usually those who are in 3rd year are eligible for campus placement.Other than that internships are there for all years.The highest i believe has gone to 21 lac in year 2023 and average is 4 or 5 lac.Other than that companies such as Wipro ,S and P Global and 200+approached the college.

All about Gargi

Likes

Faculty is good. All the exams and tests are taken properly
Students get good exposure to all fields including sports and NCC
Companies like Deloitte,KPMG, EY and Zomato gives campus placement.

Dislikes

The area surrounding the college is very expensive. All the pg and flats here are too expensive.
It's a girl's college and as you know girls are not cooperative at all. It's very difficult to make a huge friend circle here.
Campus is not much spacious and the canteen food is not good.

The highest package is mostly offered from my course.This year(2024) it was 23lpa. It depends on the students determination and mostly on their extra curricular activities. Companies visited- Deloitte,KPMG,Zomato,EY,BAIN and many more. I prefer doing MBA.

The environment of college is too good everyone was accomodating and helpful
The societies is the best part of this college .
This college provide you various opportunities to develop yourself

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that good fans ,wifi etc not working
I don't like the timetable of our program it was so bad sometimes you have your class at 8:30 and next at 2 and you have to wait in library till the next

Overall course curriculum is good .Teachers will teach you according to syllabus alloted to your course and provide you material too . Small tests also happens so as to prepare you for exams and will support you .
