I did not really chose this branch it is what I got and it is same for majority of students infact over 90 percent students just get a branch they can get according to their jee mains result and like nowadays everyone is crazy over tech branches . In this college GB pant Pauri Garhwal there are some good faculties with easygoing nature and some with egoistic personalities and they can be pretty hard to deal with but all in all they are all faculties with enough qualifications and so are they knowledgeable .

Student are available for play campus placement during their final year and their some companies that visit in our campus the percent of student getting placed is quietless the average package here is around 4 or 4.5 lakh and highest packages around 11 lakh

I chose civil engineering as I was targeting for government sectors and civil branch have some fair opportunities that I can use to get one.GBPIET has 1:32 student to faculty ratio which is not something we seek but it is manageable. Most of the faculties are well qualified and come from an esteemed university like IIT's etc.In every 2 and half month each department conduct class test and at the end of semester practical and final exam happens.

The placement are not so good in this collage to be honest a fewer students gets the placement so if you are hardworking and maintain a good position in the class you can get the placement but most of the students tend to prepare for the government exams .

Campus placement is good not that bad. Placement depends upon a lot of things like where the college is situated and many other.As our college is situated in quite remote are so according to that placement is good.

Faculty to student ratio is good due to limited intake of 60..faculties are experienced and hold phd from iits and nits.. There are 2 class tests and one semester exam for each exam in a semester.....

Placement of the college is average. It depends on the course for electronics average package is around 3.5 to 4lakhs per annum . The major recruiter are HCL and qspiders while amazon also recruited one with highest package ie 12 Lakhs per annum

I love the btech course and my branch of electronics.The faculty members are also so good .the way of their teaching is so nice .They made me to understand the concept in a very easy way.the strength of my class is 61 .The exams were tough but not very much that its is difficult to pass .The questions were based on pyqs and help much better concept.

Ece course is quite good and better for the future. some faculties are good and have knowledge they are phd holders teaching method good sometimes they use smart boards others are quite boring (there always are many in every English college) midterms/class test happens in 2 months and two times in one semester and isn't much tough

Faculty and students ratio is good. The teachers here are well qualified and some teachers have good teaching method and motivate students to choose a good career option and give opportunities well and good for students to showcase their skills.
