In an overall impression our college is quite good in all aspects be it's sports, academics or extra-curricular activities. The faculties are very helpful and supportive so are our seniors and alumni network.

Positives of the college is good campus life and good facilities available in the college and the placement opportunities, encouragement for startups.coming to negatives the faculty and course curriculum and unnecessary rules

According to me this is best engineering than any other WB govt. engineering college. There are lot of scopes to be improved. Currently this college became autonomous university and as I am aware of it the college management is doing good jobs to compete with highly ranked other universities. Thumbs up.

Entirely we have a very good infrastructure and good faculty.We have good campus atmosphere with canteens and sports grounds surrounded .We have good transport facility.The only drawback is that for the students who stay outside are facing a bit difficulties from ibrahimpatnam.

Most of the positive I have discussed above and only negative I find is that our college doesn't really follow that equal curricular and co-curricular activities.Apart from that everything's really good in this college.

The only negative side of the college is its location. It is situated in sodpur which is the northern end of Kolkata. Which lead to an communication problem. But to be frank there is a good link of auto and busses nd trains ..which somehow manage the hustle .

Totally waste college please frds don't join this stupid college ,they make your carrier more worse they doesn't grow knowledge they grow marks which are useless,and unwanted,only central library is one of the great place to grow our skill

Lets start with positive if you are a sensire , well good in studies then Gnit is a platform where you can score very high marks as compared to other college in kolkata. Negative remarks are that placement is worst no core company comes only some it company are there.

If one, from a middle class family, dreams to become successful in life by staying in Kolkata, one should go for it. Seriously, it might not be the best but, apart from academics, it would surely open other gates for one to do something worthwhile. In short, GNIT is synonymous to success. On the other hand, one from a 'well-to-do' family, must opt for a different college as there are many out there better than this.

POSITIVE:- 1. Infrastructure is just amazing! 2. Faculty staffs are very much friendly and helpful! 3. Many events are performed in our college! 4. Smart India hackathon also take place in our college! NEGATIVE:- 1. The location of the college is in the worst place! 2. Drainage system is not at all in a good condition! 3. The place is very much affected by several diseases!
