- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Manufacturnalties are there and it's more than 10 faculties per batch
Most of the faculty have PhD degree and they teach us very well
Term exam have held on regular 5 month

Course Curriculum Overview:
My rank was around 25000 so i get mechanical branch, and the students ratio is 60:40, all the faculty member is so experienced and have 15+years teaching experience. All semester exam will be held in 6month interval.

I choose the course for my interest. It's a very important course for me and also of being a ethical hacker I have a interest for it. The exams are so not difficult yet. And the faculty members of the college work as a guider for the students.

- This is has provide so many opportunity for technical groth. its college has many technical club.
- There are good opportunity for sports. In the campus under hit have one football ground, one cricket ground, one basket ball court.

- This college is not 100% ragging free campus. some student will be ragging by seniors.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
