- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

6-8 Semester students are eligible for Placements. Many big Companies and MNCs Visit our College like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon , Capegemini , Cognizant, Deloitte, PWC. Highest Package of this Year is 40 LPA and Average Package is 5.75 LPA .Almost 97-98 percent students are placed.

- There are Many Socities which help to acquire many skills.
- Campus Life is Very Excellent as the Campus Area is around 40 acres and Cultural and Tech Fest are arganized
- Faculty are Excellent as All Faculty Are NET Qualified, PHD Holders and NIT passout.
Dislikes
- Campus is situated at the Outskirts of West Bengal
- Discipline is not well maintained and Punctuality in the Class as Many Students not attends the Class.
- No such places to explore in the Locality.
Placement Experience:
From 5th Semester that is 3rd Year and 4th Year Students are eligible for Campus Placements. Many big Companies and MNCs visits our College like Amazon, TCS, Infosys,Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, PWC, Deloitte. Highest package offered this Year is 45 LPA and Average Package is 6.2 LPA . This Year 98-99 % students are placed and rest are opted for Higher Study. My plan after getting a degree is to get a High Package in big MNCs.

- Campus is very beautiful,well organised.
- It has one the biggest library in which there are all kind of books ,free wifi are available
Dislikes
- Language issues with the local people shops ,not that much but yes i have faced some.
- There is a culture of senior junior in our collage
Placement Experience:
Students from 6th semester are eligible for the placements.
May companies visited this and last year also Tech mahindra etc.

Avg about 4.5lkhs

- Campus Size and Hostel facilities and faculties.
- Senior behavior and faculties quality speaking .
- hostel fees is less compared to other college.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year Students will be eligible for placements. The few companies are TATA, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys etc. the numbers of offers were made is 600-700. The highest package is 23 lpa on campus and 45 lpa off campus and 6.5 lpa is average.

- Large and eco friendly campus, all departments are well equipped
- Good hiring by companies and core sector is doing good
- Very helpful and supportive faculties and staffs is every case
Dislikes
- More infrastructure required and more lab equipments required
- More opportunities regarding internship required from college side
- There is still few cases of ragging by seniors in hostel only
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement from 3 Rd year. Companies come to campus and hire students .
Students can do internships from 2nd year.
Last year 90 companies came and the percentage of placed students were 91 %
Highest package is 40 lpa and average is 6 lpa .

- College Campus It is very big and well designed
- Our Hostel has a very huge accommodation
Course Curriculum Overview:
I got opportunity to choose this course and pursue it.
student: faculty ratio is 100:1
Many of them are Phd holder and many had a high experience of teaching
6 months
if we follow classes and go through the syllabus we can easily achieve good cgpa

- I meet new friends. Weather of haldia, We have not kt attend class daily
- We have to only attend 4 day in h week..
Dislikes
- Mess food is not very good. Mosquito....
- Mosquito.. Seniors are not well behave with junior

Placement is very nice. 80% students gets placed in clg . Average placement is 5 lpa and median package is 4.5lpa.
Highest packages of 2023 is 27lpa. This year highest packages is 38 lpa. 100 companies visit here

- Relationship between senior and junior students along with Professors.
- Environment is very much good for the coming student. Their is no ragging.
- It is well equipped with latest technology and infrastructure is very good maintained .
Dislikes
- Highlight any area where you felt the curriculum could have been improved.
- Course need more related to industry based.
- campus job interview done very less. No stipend avaliable.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because i want to a software enggineer. A lower faculty to student ratio often allows for more personalize attention and better interaction between student and professor. A higher ratio might means larger class sizes potential less indivisualized attention. Consider the qualifications and experience of the faculty members . Look for faculty with industry experience or research expertise. There are professors with Ph.D in their respective field. They look for mix of traditional lactures , hand-on labs and collaborative projects to cater to different learning style. The term exam are conducted at regular interval. The schedule is communicated in a timely manner.

- This University's campus is ragging free and seniors are very helpful
- The campus is big and beautiful.Every department is created so perfectly with labs,departmental libraries etc
- The environment over here is very peaceful and faculties are very helpful for academic issues

- Fest should be conducted twice a year both cultural and tech fest
- The faculty student ratio should increased
Placement Experience:
Placement scenerio is improving every year.From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.A lot of companies visited like congnizant and made no of offers.The highest package offered was 23 lac on campus and 43 lac on campus.The average package is 4 lac and 90% of the students get placed on campus.My plans after the degree is to go for higher studies and become a successful full data analytics developer.

- Exam papers are too easy for me and to maintain a good CGA
- there is no such attendent issue, you will get a spare time to learn new things and to add new skills
- Campus life is good because you get a Big campus with lots of facilities
Dislikes
- Senior junior barrier is too bad in our college and they treat us like a maid
- I think college should have to take our social life seriously so we can free live here without any pressure of senior junior or management
- Hostel food should be improve more and provide us a good and healthy meal
Placement Experience:
Our college placement is not good because there are lots of companies coming but didn't offer too much package few major companies like TCS, Wipro, cognigent etc offers 20-30 seats and other small companies offer 80-90 seats and some mass recruiter companies offer 100+ seats. now the point is if you study well and be a good student throughout the college life you will definitely get a package and either it will be your dream package or a moderate package it's totally depend on your hard work and luck. you can also try for off-campus if you have such skill and many students in our college try for off campus and get 20,22,27 LPA packages.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
