- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

MOSTLY STUDENTS IN OUR COLLEAGE PLACED 80 TO 85 % STUDENT GOT PLACED ON AND OFF CAMPUS. OTHER STUDENTS CAN PREFER TO HIGHER STUDIES LIKE M.TECH, MBA , MS & CVIL SERVICES . OUR TOP MOST PLACED COMPANY ARE HOLDIA PETRO CHEMICALS, ACCENTURY, IBM, AMAZON, EMAMI, ADDANI, TECH MEHINDRA, WIPRO. PLACED STUDENTS AVERAGE CTC 3.5LPA TO 9.5 LPA.

- Campus of very large and very green it is around 36 acer
- I like our canteen in our college. The food quality is very osam.

- Ragging environment is very bad in our college
- Here attendence policy is very strict in our college
Placement Experience:
Student are eligible campus placement in four year 7th semester. Around 100 + company visted in our college mainly all big mnc are come in our college our highest package is around 40 lpa and average package is 6 lpa.

- Campus life- the grounds, the cafeteria, the building, classrooms
- Seniors are very helpful, they are ready to teach us new and exciting things, they treat us like brothers.
- Annual fests- in Riviera they brought ashneer sir, who is a great entrepreneur , and the tech fests
Dislikes
- The fees structure is too high for general category students without scholarship
- Changing subject teacher in the middle of semester, tuning again with new teacher takes time
- Placement is not good in recession period
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is very good. Main reason i chose cybersecurity because this field is interesting and growing rapidly, many opportunities are blooming.
The faculty and student ratio is good in general. For approx 10 student there is one teacher
Teachers are very qualified in their respective field...many of them have their PhD from well known institutions
The term exams are always on schedule and they maintain a good gap between internal and semester exams. The difficulty is low in terms of passing exams because questions always come from the material the teachers have provided us.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Since I younger age, I was always interested in computer science. So it was my choice and dream to choose this course
The faculty is well educated and trained for training the students and make them study in the best way possible The professors are very friendly to the students and help us in every doubt and problem we face. There are a total of 3 cas and then the semester exam is taken. The first ca is conducted after 20 to 25 days of the start of semester And after three cas semester, practical and theory is taken.

Placement Experience:
The placements are very good as compared to other private colleges in West Bengal. Many students gets placed in more than 2 companies. Approx 92% students get placed every year with average package of 5.25lpa

- The first thing i liked about the college is library.
- Second thing I liked about the college is their faculties which are very helpful.
- I liked the environment the college creates by entering different clubs and understanding and gaining information about new technologies.
Dislikes
- The college is located in the Outskirt of the City.
- You may face travelling and transportation issues.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose Computer Science And Engineering because of my interest in coding and I wanted to explore more in this field. I have keen interest in building my carrer in this field.The faculties are upto the mark that can make the student easily understand the topics so that they can apply in their life . They don't rush in anything and you can ask as much doubt as you want there are available for students all the time.Teaching method is quite old but if you listen to them carefully then it is quite easy to understand the topics.We have 3 CAs each having a time duration of 1 month and final practical and semester examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:
From young age I was very much interested in computer so I choose computer science for my career development. We get a good quality faculty in our college and the professors here are well educated and are very friendly to the students they try to explain each and every doubt we have not just one time but many times. The teaching style of the teachers are bit old as they are aged but big attention in the class can help you gained very much knowledge about your own subject and course. In our college there are three caes in total and then we have practical and semester theory exam. On the start of semester within 20 to 25 days we are conducted with CA and it is repeated on the same cycle. And after completion of 3 CA we have a semester.

- Our male seniors from Bihar exactly. Because they look like monsters and they are really rude.
- Ragging in our college happens, not too much but a decent amount.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because I had little interest in electronics material. There are many faculty members in my college. They are highly educated & have higher degrees like PhD , MSC , etc. the faculty to student ratio is like 2:10. Exams haven't started yet so don't have that experience yet.

- The first thing i like about my college is the placement it provides in the campus
- The second thing i liked about the college is its library as we can get almost all the books we need
- In the college there are lots of clubs which we can join and sports activities available
Dislikes
- The first thing i disliked is the area in which the college is located it is quite an outer side from the city
- The one thing which ia bot a big deal but the infrastructure should be improved
Placement Experience:
Basically from 7th sem you can apply for the placements but from 7th sem end and 8th starting the companies starts to visit the college for campus placements inside the college. So many companies visits the college for the placements but Some of them are TCS Accenture Cognizant Wipro Flipkart and the offers made by them last year was approx 10 lakhs per annum but the average package one can get is nearly about 4.5 lakhs per annum. The placement percentage of the college is quite good as we talk about the previous year it was about 90 percent.

Faculty members are very professional and also there are many senior professors and junior professors ... Most of them gave got PhD degree and many of them have M tech degree ... They are also very polite in behaviour and also teaches in funny way so that we learn everything easily ...

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
