- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

In my college after 3 year students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like wipro, infosys, cognizant, TCS, TATA, Byjus,etc. Approx 60%get high placement and about 20%get average package.

After 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements and students must have 7-8 cgpa for campus placement
There are so many companies visit for campus placement like Birla , tcs , ambuja cement, vitro, anand mahler filter , tata tcs , jdm and many more companies
Highest package 40lpa from this collage and average package 5-6 lpa
After degree get internship or Job

- I likes college infrastructure, big campus and one of the most beautiful place which is four pillars of our campus
- I like college's sports and extra curricular activities which do in our college
- I like the faculty members and teaching styles
Dislikes
- Placement decrease due to recession period of the companies
- Little bit ragging in college hurts juniors
- Their is no air conditioner in classroom
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course due to interest matter.I like engineering so I choose information technology.
The faculty member are very good,they are well qualified and they are very helpful to us.
Faculty members are unexpected.
Faculties have done their P.hd and they are well qualified.They teachs very well and make students understood easily.
Term exams have well sitting arrangement.Their are little bit of difficulties but our faculties prepared us well for our terms exams.

- Cheaper hostel fees and cheaper tution fees
- Supportive mentors and subject teachers of the class as well
- Sports culture of the HIT is a way too good in its own they provide all the playing facilities for free
Dislikes
- The overall infrastructure of the college is too much decent
Placement Experience:
There are a lot of companies that visit this college . If we talk about the last year placement a total number of 127 companies visited in our campus and the average package was 5.12 LPA which os quite good but at the end all that matters in placement is skills of the student not eduactional but including the others aspect as well , if you are skilled well you can get a good package from here for sure.

4 students became eligible for placement.There came Wipro,Flipkart,Tcs etc.Highest package is 44 lac per year.Placement average package is 4 lacper year.70% students got placement.Placement is good of this college.

- I most dislike the location of the college because it is the far away from main cities.
- I also dislike some teachers and some rudes behaviour of teacher .
- Rude behaviour of senior student towards junior students .

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because I am interested in the field of IT and want to became a software engineer.
The faculty is good but the not so better the student ratio is 1:63.
The qualification of faculty is manily PhD and MSc in specific subjects. Teaching style is old but this is good and understand able .
Terms exam are not on going on timing and it is medium difficult types questions.

- I disliked the location of the Haldia institute of technology Because it is far away for main city.

The name of company like conizen, Dettol,haldia petrol chemical,TCS , Flipkart.
The percentage of students who are placed are very low in this year so I cannot tell about placements.
I planned that I want to get job at haldia petrol chemical.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I am so excited to learn about mechanism of different car or machine parts. And the faculty of hit are well a educated and qualified. They are so friendly with the students. The time of exam will be decided by the college it self and try to finish there course before exam

- The ambience and infrastructure, including the behaviour of the teachers.
- The vast collection of books in the Library.
- Excellent hostel and mess facilities with cooperative staff
Dislikes
- Lack of consistency of certain classes along with absence of teachers sometimes.
- The campus pharmacy did not seem updated.
- The campus food is a little expensive and the food takes a lot of time to prepare.
Placement Experience:
Students of our campus are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Companies like Cognizant and offer of upto 20 lakhs per year have been made. Currently 10-15% students are getting placements, but generally about 55% students get placed from this college. I plan to do M.Tech after this course.

The college tries it's best so that every student got placed in a good company.The placement is average here.
The companies like Infosys, Wipro,TCS, Cognizant etc. Visit our campus.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
