- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

I choose this course because I have interest in computer and in this college most of the faculty are PHD exam are on time and it's to hard exam for passing the exam we all preparing very seriously then

- Faculties of college is very approachable

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement in our college . The highest package is about 27 lpa last year and allmost 90% of the students get placed through campus placement . There where 120+ company visited in our college last year

- Library is good there are many books related to your course. And also you can practice already.
- Our mentors are really a good person as well as a good teacher
Dislikes
- Not all the teachers are good in teaching
- Behaviour of hod is very bad. He is so acoustic and blessing students in front of the whole class

ECE graduates are in hot demand across various industries, including:
Telecommunications: Design cutting-edge communication systems and networks.

Sufficient faculties are there . The faculty vs student ratio is good but quality teachers are very less in number. Class test are taken with the time and given questions are very thought provoking.

In our clg max chances are to get placed on campus but if any body fails they can get many other facilities too to get placed off campus ..
The highest on campus packege was 20 lpa last yr and off campus was 45 lpa last year.

- Campus life was awesome and one of most memprable part of my life.
- Everything was great.It is one of best college in India.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students started getting placement.
Lots of company for each branch come every year for placement.
Highest 20lakh an average 4 lakh.
70% students get placement direclty.

- Some boys are ragging in juniors students who come out of the states .
- Their cantine is not good another store.

HPL highest packages 9 LPA per year

Highest package is 40 lpa
Average package is 5.5 lpa
Almost 85-90% of students gets placed every year.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
