- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

- The location is far from Kolkata. Approx 120 km
- Here the heat is very much due to humidity
- Sometimes there is a chemical smell in the air.
Placement Experience:
Last year 92% students get placed form our college in companies like cognizant, PWC, Capgemini, jio, Airtel, TCS etc. But this year due to recession only 51% students are placed till 31st March. My plan is to do Higher studies after my BTech.

- The thing I liked the most about haldia institute of technology is that the campus is located at a very peaceful area where their is no crowd no traffic nothing. The environment near the campus is so peaceful. Near the college distraction level is 0
- Secondly the thing I like the most about the college is it's campus. The campus of haldia institute of technology is so good and neat and clean. The environment inside the campus is so relaxing. The campus is so large
- The next thing which I like the most is that this campus has its own restaurant, gym, departmental store, basic necessities store ,etc. And this all are inside the campus
Dislikes
- The weather of haldia is so bad that it makes out day classes worse.
- Secondly the thing I don't like about haldia institute of technology is that in rainy season the college gets completed indulge into water
- And I don't like the bouncer of the college they are not at all friendly
Placement Experience:
There is almost 95% placement. Till the end of 4th year, faculties make sure that every children should get placed and try the level best to place each and every student in good companies, except the one who is interested in higher studies

- No Attendance issues gives you full time to study by yourself.
- Fest and activities gives lot of funand make college lively.
- Campus Life as you can chill anytime with your friends
Dislikes
- Hostel Hygiene due to the washroom cleaning issues
- Poor Management sometimes in case of notice and exam schedules
- Mess food, sometimes made me cry and missed my home
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem.
Mostly Accenture, TCS, PWC , Cognizant,HCL,Techmahindra,Ibm , Capegemini and many other MNCs and startup companies etc. visits here.
In recession period there is less palcement otherwise approx 80 percent students get placed.
I have been placed so I am currently gonna join the opportunity.

- Library is amazing and there is lots of books
- Attendance policy is not strict you can give exam even your attendance is 40 percentage
Dislikes
- Coding environment is not good but it is improving
- Some Faculty is not good but some are very knowledgeable
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester the students are eligible to sit in the placement some of the companies that visit are TCS Wipro etc average package is about 5 6 lpaDue to ression the placement is decreased overall it's good

- Campus is beautiful and it is in 49 acres .
Dislikes
- All things is good .. according to me it is best for us.
- Basketball ball court should be maintained or repair
- According to me all things is well mannered
Course Curriculum Overview:
The specific aspects is to take admission in this course becouse I have interest in machine learning and ethical hacking and also I have chosen computer science engineering so that I can Excel my skills.

- There, there is nothing about disliking this college
- There are very strict teachers so they pressurise you to get more Marks in exam
- All things are good. According to me it is the best.
Placement Experience:
The placements are in my college are very good. You can eligible in six semester for your placement there are some companies that came last year are like Accenture , TCS, HCL, Amazon, Wipro, cognizant, Infosys etc

- The college is located in a polluted area so polution is very high
- Transport system could be better from hostel to college
- Area of this college might be better than others
Placement Experience:
Placement is the most important part of this college. Students from every department get a very high level package from this college. Companies like Amazon , Flipkart, Cognizant , Capgemini, TCS , Tech Mahindra, Tata and many more core and non core companies visit to pick students. Highest package is 45 LPA offered by Amazon .

- I liked the extracurricular activities that happens every weeks or months
- The campus is big and it is a good place to roam around and to chill.
Dislikes
- Some seniors are not very friendly and act badly
- Same kind of book is not available for all students.
- Placement scenario is very bad in the recent years
Placement Experience:
After 6th semester students are eligible forcampus placements. Wipro cognizant etc company visit the campus and pull campusing is also done.this years highest package is 10lpa from IT department but the overall placement is not very good. Around 30-40% student got placements.my personal plan after getting the degree is to do M.TECH is a renowned university.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
