Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

I liked the way theor senior intersect with the juniors.

I don't dislike anything inside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All course are well maintained and designed and the professor is also very talented and dedicated to their job of teaching with honesty and making us understand each and every topic enlisted in the syllabus. All the teachers are PHD Holders.

College life needed

Likes

Campus is the best thing of that college. It has a big campus in which everything is there gym, canteen, atm every single thing u want
Its faculty is very nice and cooperative and you will find then helping you out in everything
Library is very big and you dont have to buy books you can borrow it from the library for 15 days

Dislikes

Fine system of the library where if you are late for one day then 5 rs ia fined which is too much
For girls it is not cool to room around in the campus after 7 pm
Canteen food is too expensive for students and they even dont consider it

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is quite good and every year there comes many company and mass recruiters. And by chance if any student couldn't make it then college tries it's best by making call to it's pass out students for refers which will help these students

Likes

Campus size is Good enough compared to other private colleges in west bengal
Library of our college is one of the biggest library in west bengal
Student capacity in all branches are good and not huge like other colleges

Dislikes

Dressing system as college don't need to have dress
Haldia area is too hot and it's difficult to wear full sleeves college dress
After second year all hostel's have common bathroom in every floor that not good...

Placement Experience:

In 6 to 7 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. Companies visiting our colleges like PWC, Accenture, and many more big companies offered 6.5 to 4.5 LPA. Almost 95% of students got placed. I will try to get the job through campus selection and if not then try to get through off-campus selection.

College campus and I tension toward extra curriculum activities and sports.

Dislikes

The location of my college which is too far from the Kolkata.
The language barrier which we have to face.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester students are visible to sit in the college placement. Numerous of company came to my college just as IBM Infosys and they offer up to 6-7 apple. Approx 90% of students got placed. And I also want to get placed in my college campus drive.

Huge campus so we can have a nice college environment
Good faculty members with appropriate qualification

Dislikes

College is situated in very rural location
Faculty members prioritarize students of west bengal over other states
Placement could be much better in recession time it declined

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from the end of 6 sem or starting of seventh sem. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Tcs, HPL and many more companies visited and they offer around 5-7 lpa average packege The average packege of our college is 5lpa and the highest package is 14 lpa almost 95% get placed. I want to participate in campus placement and as well as off-campus placement

College campus-4 pillar of our College then College's infrastructure
I love to walk in the campus beside our clg gym
I like the college placements system . 95% stds got placements here

Dislikes

I dislike the education system of sem ..We just get 4 month where time should be 6 month for per sem
I dislike the anex building they need to repair the floors

There are no several thing I don't like at that moment

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good than in any other private autonomous college. The average package I guess 500000 per annum. and the highest package I guess 25 lakhs annually. it also depends on your skills and studies

This year placement records are not so good, in the 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys companies have visited our college. 50-60% of students are getting placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I am interested in that field and willing to know. The faculties are good or you can say average but they are friendly with all the students. Some of the faculties are highly qualified and some are new but try their bests to help the students in their studies. Every month term exams occur which we call CT-1,2,3. It's easy based on the assignments professor gives.

Likes

Tech fest and fest was very good in our college
In sports like cricket and football was very excited and too much fun
Placement are average in our college. And it's value for money

Dislikes

College was outside from city this problem we are faced
When our college in city then number of company are more comes
When the college in placed in city then placement is going also good

Placement Experience:

Mostly 3rd year and 6th semester become eligible for campus placement. In our college high placement is 40lpa (off campus) and the average package is around 4-4.5lpa. Around 91% of students are getting placement on campus. My plans are Gate exam after my degree.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
