- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this because it is an overall good college for those who want to be a chemical engineer. The faculties are good most of the professors have PhD degrees. And the behavior of the faculties is good. During examination question is hard and the guard is also hard. You need to hard work to pass the examination.

- The faculty members , they are very supporting. The education criteria and the teaching style
- Annual Fest of the college, Prayukti and Reviera
- Cultural things like sports, dance and various types of competition.
Dislikes
- Classes are mandatory for everyone that is very tough for every student.
- Short Holidays, basically there is no Summer vacation and to be honest there is high temperature during summer.
Placement Experience:
After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Wipro, pwc, Accenture, and so on visited this college. Here is the highest package of 46lpa and the average package is 5.5lpa. The average Percentage of students getting placement is around 87%. My plan is to get a job after getting the degree.

- No places to visit in first year all places are exhausted.

Well, I chose this course because I was very intrigued by it. The faculty is also one of the best in the country. All the teachers present are justifiably qualified to be present here. Our semesters are very oddly gapped.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose Computer Science Engineering because Firstly I love coding languages. In this college, I got huge opportunities to show my skills. There are a lot of technical clubs and societies that will obviously help you to grow your skills and facilities are also very helpful. Our respected teachers are always there to help us in any condition.

- The fests are really attractive and joyful events in the year.

- Very few things to explore as there are very few spots to visit.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is new and that's why the faculty members are newly recruited and all from agricultural backgrounds. They all are very friendly and informative. I am very lucky to have them as my teacher. Hope to have more members in the future. All the faculty are Ph.D. holders.

- Campus size is about 40 acres and it has research facilities
- We got 2 massive playground and a gym and sports culture is very good
- We got a ton of clubs and societies in our college
Dislikes
- Cante food is not so good. I mean one can only eat this and cannot enjoy
- Class room become very hot during summer and only seniors hot AC in their classroom
- Non Bengali people will have to suffer a lot
Placement Experience:
Student can get placed from 3rd year and a lot of companies like Flipkart, Infosys, TCS, and HPL comes to visit our campus. Our college has an average of 6LPA and the highest one got about 27LPA. About 90 to 93 percent of students get placed every year.

- Admission fees is very big it problem middle class famaily student.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Because the Information Technology Department is best for placement opportunities in another department.
student: faculty ratio is 400:180
Maximum Faculty teacher study M.Tech and PHD and their teaching is osum and realy easy to learn.
Our exam perpose is semister and our semester time is 5 months, the exam is very easy to pass beacause question is very easy.

Placement Experience:
The placements are good a lot of companies visit our college every year. The average package is 5 lpa. Companies like Infosys, TCS, PWC, cognizant, Flipkart and many more visit our college. Almost 80% of people get placed every year. My plan after getting the degree is to do a job in a good company.

- The college is in the village side and the long distance from home.
Placement Experience:
The placement is pretty good. You are eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. Almost 85 to 90 % are students are placed during the placement seasons. The top recruiter's companies are wipro, tcs, Accenture, PWC, Capgemini etc. The highest package is 12 lakh from on campus and 45 lahks from off campus and the lowest package is 3.2 lakhs. Also, you can do higher education and get ready for competitive exams.

- First of all i really liked the campus. Our campus is huge enough and we also have many big playgrounds for us. And moreover the average package in my stream and placement percentage is also decent.
Dislikes
- I just want to say a canteen must be there inside the college except the hostel ones.
Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for placement after 4th semester. Famous companies like IBM, WIPRO, HITACHI, HPL, etc. Many companies come to our college. The highest package this recent year is 25 lakh in campus and 50 lakh out campus and the average package is 4.5 lakhs. In the recent 2 years in our stream, there has been 100 percent placement.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
