- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

The placements in the college are the main attraction of this college. This college is 2nd best in West Bengal in terms of placements in private engineering colleges.
The highest package is 45 LPa, Average package is 5.75 LPA.

- Clubs, fests, the behaviour of faculties
- There's peace around the campus since it isn't in a congested area

- Could've been in a busier place which would mave life more fast moving
Placement Experience:
Students get eligible for placements from the 6th semester.
Some companies that visited are- TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, MINDTREE, RELIANCE, HCL, IOCL, COGNIZANT, HPL, etc.
The highest package offered was 12L and the average was 5L.
Around 91% of the students get placed.
My plan is to get an off-campus placement since the pay grade is much higher in that case.

- Nobody of our college we don't dislike .
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because our mentor is very responsible and he knows everything about ai and data science field. He is very helpful.And our faculty are also responsible. 90% of our faculty are PhD cualified.

- Gym is also present in campus and 2 stationary also available.
- Faculty are very good and they also friendly.
Dislikes
- The draining system is very poor , if rainfall happens then the campus is filled with water.
- For relaxing no in campus place is there.
- If once lights off it takes many time .
Placement Experience:
At 6th semester you can sit for placement. 197 companies are visiting the campus. 1100 students get placement from here. 97% of students get placement. 45 LPA is the highest package & 5.7 LPA is the average package.

- Campus facilities are provided for all students
Placement Experience:
Placement is available for all 4th year students. A lot of companies come to our campus for placements with even mass recruiters. And a lot of students gets placed in a lot of different companies with a lot of opportunity ahead.

- One of the most liked thing here are the Chai Theks outside the campus, having peaceful sitting arrangements with cool breeze of Haldia.
- The Four Pillars of Pride thats is the Front of the main building of college have really amazing view which everyone out here liked much.
- The campus life here is really appreciable, you can get to play many sports, you're getting to see fests and programs at college quite offen. And many other things i can't remember at a time.
Placement Experience:
Placement scenarios at HIT are amazing. That's why, its alumni records are quite appreciated.
Students from 3rd year start doing internships as per their merits. And by the end of the course, almost 70-80% are placed somewhere. The average package here is close to 5-6 LPA and the highest mark goes to 25-30 and more too.

Placement Experience:
Here JB 7th semester students will be applicable to eligible for campus placement and many companies like TCS amazon etc have come and here 80% of students get placed. The remaining 20% either study off campus or higher studies.

- Locality is not so good here. They don't like non bengalis

The college provides excellent placements. The highest package is about 45lakhs. The average package is about 4-5 lakhs. Many companies visit this college. This year Flipkart also visited this college.

- It has a bigger campus than any other private colleges in west Bengal.
- The average package offered in this college is slightly better than other colleges.
- Many societies are available in the college where you can actively participate and improve your skills.
Dislikes
- This is situated in a rural place far away from any big city.
- The administrative staffs are not that friendly.
- There is no discussion about innovation. Everyone is talking about placement and marks.
Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. Many mass recruiters and startups come to recruit employable students. As it is a tier 3 college no MNCs come here. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, and cognizant come here. This year the highest package was 45 lacs from off campus and 14 lacs from Incampus. And the average package is around 4.5 lacks. Around 90% of students get placed through the campus placement.
I plan to go for an MBA after this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Yes, it's a very good question for me that I choose engineering because it's a very interesting and knowledgeable part. The student ratio is very huge in this college because of the best camping. All the teachers are Ph.D. holders.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
