- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

- Students feel bit hectic as there would be both classes and labs happening simultaneously
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students are eligible for industrial internship and from 7 th semester college provides placement to all students and till the end of the 8th semester mostly students get palaced. Till the date total 356 companies (IT, Core) have visited our campus. 92 % students every year get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Our faculty members are so good and our mentors and faculty are so responsible. The faculty and students ratio is 1:10 that's a good ratio for students and faculty ratio. Our 90% of teachers faculty are PhD qualified.

Placement Experience:
Our college gives many opportunities for our placement college is overall good, and I think there is no need for any introduction to my college.
Placements: 85 to 90 percent of the students get placed in my course. The highest package in my course is INR 21 LPA, and the average package is INR 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, PWC, and Wipro. It's really very difficult to say, but on average, 90% of students got internships in my branch, and a large number of companies come to my college, just as PWC, some startups, Flipkart, and Cognizant. The top roles offered in my course are software engineer, software tester, etc.

- Library facilities and campus also too good of HIT.
- All types of tools and equipment available in Workshop.
- Overall placement are good and maximum company come from IT sector with less package and mass hiring and few companies are arrived.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Many service-based companies like TCS, Accenture, and Capgemini visit our college. Eligible students got placed in our college, and multiple core companies also come like pinnacle infotech and Meghalaya cement but all are providing fewer packages.

- Things i liked about hit was , its climate , people and lovely facilty( who treats you like their family.)
- Local friends and friends who i meet in college.
Dislikes
- I dont dislike anything, i had very pleasant experience there.
Placement Experience:
HIT has a reputation of 100% placements, it's one of the leading semi-private colleges in West Bengal. Placement is nearly 90% every year I was also offered a job from the company but I opted out because I wanted to study for UPSC.

- College are too good. college structure is so good. There attracts four piller.
- Hostel are very good.meal are average. Hostel facility well
- Teacher are so good. They behave very well. They support all time

- I dislike class room structure. Class room are same as school class room
- Transport problem are here . Train come here only in morning and then evening this is not good
- Market is not near. You travel 4-5,km for go to market

College placements are too good.
The average salary is also good.
After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement.
Flipkart, Infosys, and many other companies come to college for campus placement.

Number of the companies visited this year is 152 and no of offers made is 1507.
The highest package is 27lpa
The average package is 5.75lpa
The percentage of students getting placement this year is 91%.
My plan is to get a good package.

- The infrastructure of the college is the best .
- The library is so bid where you can study whatever you want .
- Various clubs that will enhance your skills .
Dislikes
- There is no such things that I don't like except the food of the hostel .
Placement Experience:
The placement cenario is avergae . Mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, PWC, Capgemini and many more visit our college and the average package they provide is up to 4-6 lpa . Approx 90% of the students get placed in different companies.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
