- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

I like it and it's my hometown.
faculty are Ph.D. and M.tech holders and they have experience in all subjects. teachers are very friendly.
now this college is an autonomous college. our teachers are intelligent.

- Campus - Lush green campus with trees all around.
- All necesarry facilites are available from banks to hospital to gym.
- Teachers are friendly and helpful and available most of the time.

- Humid temperature you will mostly be sweaty.

Approximately 80 to 90 per cent of the population gets placed. The highest package is around 40 lakhs. Frequent recruiters are Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, PCS, indo-japan, Accenture, IBM, infosys, and tech Mahindra. The average placement is about 6 lakhs.

- Campus is really big and beautiful. You will feel like you are really living in your college life. It has 40 acer big campus.
- Tech fest and college fest are well celebrated here and you will feel like you are in Nit or iit in fest season. Last year ansnir grover came to the tech fest.
- Semester exam questions are not that hard for 1st year. You will get enough time to study and improve in coding also in shor time college arrenge for coding event.
Dislikes
- Hostel food is not that good in college specially in Balaji hostel. It test like you are eating no masala. Food don't test good but really healthy also.
- Most people are only from Bihar, jharkhand, west bengal only. No diversity in here but suitable for people live on Bihar, jharkhand or west bengal
Placement Experience:
Placement are like average here. Like any 2nd tier college average CTC is 5.75 lakh this year (2023). Internship start form 2nd year if you are good in coding. And placement start from 3rd and 4th year. Company like TCS and Wipro employee most of the students. The highest package on campus is 16 lakh and off campus is 40 lakh

Till now 91% of students have been placed in different companies and the highest package was 40 lakhs and a minimum of 4 lpa I have been placed in Capgemini our top recruiters are TC Capgemini Cognizant etc in core Adani Jindal tata reliance essar steel were a recruiter

- Campus life is great. This collegs has a huge campus having all amenities
- The hostels are a great place with good rooms and average food

- The outside life is a bit boring having no good places nearby to go and visit.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, companies start to come for placements. This college has a reputation for good placements in many departments in which many other colleges fail to provide jobs such as Food Technology and Chemical Technology. The average package ranges from 4.5 lpa to 5.5lpa. Previous year 91 per cent of the students were successfully placed

Course Curriculum Overview:
My rank in wbjee is around 16000 and I got IT branch in the second round.
Faculty members are well-qualified and trained in their respective fields.
Exams were not Timely because Haldia Institute of Technology is now an autonomous college.

- If better college is available in main city
- Hostel in campus for second year is very bad

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. There are lots of companies visited in college some of them are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, adani group, Wipro, Walmart, Reliance, Haldia Petrochemical

Faculty members of the Haldia Institute of Technology are really well-qualified and helpful. I choose ECE because there are lots of jobs option in this branch
Semester exams were timely started and there is no difficulty to pass if you make notes of the teacher

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
