- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

The only negative remark is the placement. The placement is getting worse day by day. Our future generations are going to face a hell of a lot of problems regarding placement. So think twice before getting into Engineering

Overall college is good. College should pay attention on improving the quality of teachers and students also. Students getting good rank should only be admitted. Placement is also a major point on which the college should focus.

Haldia Institute of technology is located is located in Purba Medinipur, Haldia, West Bengal. College campus is very good and spacious. It has all round facilities like different labs dedicated to different departments.

Our college's infustructure is very good, a far better than many colleges of Kolkata and in this Haldia institute of technology is one step ahead and faculty members are always helpful and stand by us.

My college is good place yo study in for 4 precious years of BTech. I would recommend this college to anyone who want to get higher study. One thing I would say that college should provide free wifi in hostels.

Our college infrastructure was one of the best thing about our college it so big and grand. The location of our is so perfect. The hostel of our college are so beautiful and provide great facilities. The faculties of our college are so supportive.

Library needs to be updated with new books, college needs infrastructure maintenance, placements should be increased. Seniors need to be helpful. Alumni network needs to be much strong. Placements and interships should be encouraged.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
