Likes

Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

I like fashion club and sports activities.I myself started playing archery.
There is no ragging in our College.seniors are quite helpful and they provide us notes and all.
Teachers are very helpful anytime we can ask our doubts related to academic and some teachers also helps in other things

Dislikes

I don't like the breakfast of our mess.that was too oily and unhealthy.
I don't like that in our hostle they don't provide us the w seater rooms .they only provide us 4,3 seater.
I don't like our physics faculty.they are very rude .

Placement Experience:

Average college placement.campanies came in our college but this year due to recession a lot of good students do not get placed.But students quality are very good so they are trying for off campus placement and get a very good job.

The library environment is quite good which provide AC.
Free Wi-Fi is provided in our whole campus area.
There are 3 canteens with good food in it and decent price for students.

Dislikes

There is restriction for the playground specially for the Basketball players.
There is no boys hostel inside the campus area.
There is no 24/7 library provided for college student

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite decent over here in comparison to other colleges in Kolkata. Average packages for 10 lpa and the highest is 16 lpa on campus. The company that come over here are Wipro ,Infosys, IBM ,Cognizant, Colgate and many more.

"HERITAGE" IS GOOD TO CHOOSE

Likes

The campus Life is outstanding for exploring .
The sports faculty is also very good and helpful for us .
Canteen availability is also very good and food is delicious.

Dislikes

The food in the canteen is very costly to afford.
No fest and fairwell freshers is provided bt the college
College is not very active and not provide much things for sports.

Placement Experience:

On wards 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Microsoft,TCS,Google and much more companies so much offers. Highest package can be upto 10000000 and average package is 6-7 lacs. 95% students are getting placed. Getting on campus placement.

Likes

I like placements of this college. Sports facilities are also good.
Library provided is very attractive to all the students here. Mechanical labs are good.
I like faculty's dedication to teach the students. They use to be punctual and discipline with their classes.

Dislikes

No fests are provided. No freshers party. Very little cultural activities take place.
Swimming facilities are not provided. No gym facilities. No ac in classrooms.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Last year highest package is like 38lpa but it is off campus. On campus average pakage is 4lpa.approx70percent of the students get placed. Companies like tcs, wipro, etc sometimes Amazon also come here.

A student's insight - college review

Likes

I really like the campus it's very peaceful and Lovely. The view from my hostel is full of greenery. I love it.
I mostly enjoy a lot in laboratory and library. There's a lot to learn. It is great.
The teachers are very supportive and nice. Except some teachers who are very rude.

Dislikes

Some teachers are very rude and are always shouting. They don't listen to students at all.
Only sports club is mostly active. And other clubs are dominated by Bengalis and they speak only Bengali. Us outsiders are not able to understand anything sometimes.

Placement Experience:

Since I am a fresher again I don't know a lot . But there have been placements in our college and were average. Mostly TCS comes to our college for campus placements. This year due to recession there were not a lot of companies came but still students got placed.

College campus is good compare to other colleges in kolkata.
Seniors are very supportive they even play cricket with us and helps in coding too
College placement is quiet decent. Many students get placed every year.

Dislikes

We have surprise test here instead of mid term
The college don't have any fest which i feel it must be there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very passionate about coding. So I took computer science engineering as my branch so I could learn coding skills. And the college helped me to learn coding in an easy way so I could solve various coding questions.

The campus infrastuature is good and attractive
The students are so supportive and good in nature
The teachers are so friendly and supportive

Dislikes

There is no fest orgainise from the past 3 years
There is always a fight in the student counclin members
For hindi speaking people its dificult to get engage

Placement Experience:

So this time the placement is not so good approx 50% student is placed till now at a lower package and 50% is still not placed bt good student also get a package of 13 lpa from colege and even upto 100k dollor in off campus

The campus infrastructure is so good and attractive
The teachers are friendly and supportive
There are always some event is happening which js cool

Dislikes

There is a language barriers for hindi speaking students
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
The teachers is somehow supported the bengali student

Placement Experience:

The placement is not so good as this year only 40% students get placement and rest are still unplaced and the company visits collage is so less like only a tCS come and take 100 students resr are just selected 2-3 students in 4 lpa

Likes

large campus , huge library ,so many grounds for various sports
the staff and environment is also decent neat and proper offering you a good college life

Dislikes

the location of the college and the seniors

students enrolled in the btech course become eligible for placements from 6th semester and the topmost recruiters include tech gaints like TCS, wipro , cognizant, and more TCS and other mass recruiters offer average package of 4-4,5 lpa and the highest packages going upto 12lpa placement ratio is quite decent and approx 90% of students get placement in the tech branches like cse it aiml etc

Campus, sports aspects, healthy atmosphere, clean campus, helpful teachers

Dislikes

I didn't like the lift system because maximum time it is out of survice.
I did not like the class test structure inspite of half year exam .
I did not like the way jam is created whenever the college organised any function.

I chose biotechnology in Heritage institute of technology because I love biology and want to see myself working in this field in future. This course and it's curriculums helps me to have a vast and deep knowledge about biotechnology.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
