Likes

Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Unboxing of College

Likes

Infrastructure of Heritage institute of technology is very good and appropriate.
Teaching staff is very good and helpful in nature
Placement are also upto the mark and high opportunities are available

Dislikes

Not a single feste have been conducted in the college
Compitant companies do not associate with heritage for placement
Lack of communication and transport from the college

Placements are excellent. College guarantees placements and gives students a wide range of options to choose from. Above ninety percent of students find their dream placements from college especially it sector

Life inside and beyond Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.

Likes

The professors were quite friendly and helpful apart from the very few.
The campus is quite big as compared to the other colleges of Kolkata.
There is canteen facility, sports, well equipped labs among many other facilities.

Dislikes

The hostel facility is provided only for the freshers and that too is not located inside the college campus.
There is bit of favouritism towards the bengali students.
Fests and other cultural fests are not held regularly.

Placement Experience:

The placement for the college is good. In my batch, almost all the student were placed with an average package of 4 lpa. This is for Mechanical Engineering. The package goes much higher for the Computer Engineering students with an average package of around 7-8 lpa.

Scope of Improvement

Likes

The campus of the college is nice means upto the mark.
The course curriculum is also pretty well managed.
The labs are all air conditioned and equiped with good facilities.

Dislikes

Few faculties are very bad. But most of them are helpful and fine.
The timings of the college ie pretty harsh.
The concept of suprise test is also not of my test. A mid sem exam is much preferred.

The Placement of the college is going fine till now. Many companies have visited the college having similar criteria like above 7.5 CGPA and no active backlogs offering a decent package of 4 to 6 lakhs per annum for Btech students and 6 to 7 lakhs for Mtech students.

6-7th semster i think you are eleigible fro placements and the placements are good there are core as well as non core depts which come and offer you job.last year amazon also came along with ibm and other recruiters

Heritage Institute of Technology - A Decent Choice

Likes

The campus is lush green and decently big.
The canteen food is quite good and affordable.
The faculty and seniors are really supportive.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not air conditioned which becomes unbearable during the summer.
Placement percentage and packages offered are a real concern
The curriculum should include more real world projects and internship opportunities.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year, the students are eligible for placements. The placement record is not quite good. Most of the packages offered are between INR 2.5 to 5 LPA. However, there are a few packages which might be considered decent, like INR 9 LPA. After getting the degree, if I get a really good package either on campus or off campus, I will accept it. Otherwise, I will consider completing my post graduation.

No ragging,the seniors maintain a very good relationship with the juniors .
Sports facilities offered are great ,the best being basketball and archery
The classrooms are great with fans and the labs are fully equipped with all needed amenities

Dislikes

The fests are not held very regularly and there is less scope for entertainment,mostly events held are study related .
There is difficulty in using wifi as it cannot be used in 2 devices at the same time

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good with average package going to 5 to 8 lpa and highest to about 16 lpa in various companies .one can opt for higher degree or can go for jobs on and off campus and almost 96 percent of the students get a good satisfiable job after graduation.

Inside news of heritage

Likes

The hostel facility is quite nice here .
There is alot of greneery near our hostel
Access to the market as auto is available just outside the college gate

Dislikes

No fest cultural functions are held no concerts
No sports facility for girls except archery and basketball
The campus is very small in comparison to other colleges

Placement Experience:

There are on campus placements from.the company like Infosys but the on campus only reaches most to most 10 lakh I guess but there is a scope in off campus as it judges your skills the highest package is off campus of 45 lakh and average package is 5 lakh I might go for higher studies after doing btech from here

The environment is quite warm, and quite green
The canteen food is quite affordable for the students of the college
Free wifi is available all over our college

Dislikes

The lift doesn't work properly and often gets jammed
There is no boys hostel in campus area .
The library is not opened for the student 24*7

The placement of this college is good according to the fees. The companies like Wipro, Infosys , IBM , Tech Mahindra comes over here. The average package is 4 lakh per annum and highest is 16 lakh per annum

I liked the infrastructure and the environment.
I liked the canteen and food here is very affordable.
I liked the sports area ,it is quite huge.

Dislikes

I did not like the library as it's not open 24/7 for the college students.
I did not the wifi as it doesn't connect well.
I did not like the lift as it is always under construction.

I would like to rate it 7out of 10 .As I opted cse (AML) it is going to help me in the future and make me financially independent.The teachers are quite good and thier way of teaching is excellent.Teachers are highly qualified.

The Reality of Heritage!!

I like the campus environment.It's quite good and green
I like the three canteens over here with good food in it
Love the library.It's quite peaceful for studying purpose

Dislikes

The wifi connection is quite well over here
The library is not open for the college student 24/7
The lift doesn't work properly over here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate my branch 8 out of 10. As I am in IT department. This department is going to help me in future. as it as there is a highly demand of this branch in future generation. The teachers are quite good over here And our highly qualified.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
