Likes

Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Our campus is very large.So it is very interesting . Each and every faculty is too much good .
Placement process is best among private colleges.

Dislikes

Hostel facility for boys is not available in our college. So it is one of the point I dislike.
Distance from the Railway station is too much.

Placement Experience:

Our Placement is undoubtedly very good. From the Last year of Btech, everyone is eligible to appear for placements. TCS, Capgemini, Microsoft, IBM, Wipro, L&T and many other companies visited our college. Any student can apply for every exam. The highest package of our college is 36 Lakhs per annum and the average Package is 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is 100 %. My plan after the degree is to appear in the GATE exam and then I will pursue Master's from a recognized University.

Campus life, bug grounds, good canteen ,tall buildings
Well-equipped classrooms and sports facilities cater to both academic and recreational needs.
This not only helped with my expenses but also enriched my learning journey. The stipend received for the on-campus job was a beneficial contribution towards my overall finances.

Best private college in west bengal

Likes

Campus library is very good as it has full AC.
Faculty are very good. They help every time when you needed.
Labs of the college are very good. Having all the equipment.

Dislikes

College does not provide any type of fest (tech fest, freshers,)
They give so much home assignments and the system of surprise test is very bad.
College calls your parents if your attendance is less than75%.

I liked the infrastructure of the college.
The college is also very active in sports club
The college have very good placements percentage

Dislikes

They don't organise any freshers party for the new comers.
They also don't organism tech fest generally
The number of companies are not much more as many students didn't get placement

Like in the 7th semester, a student is fully eligible for campus placements. like TCS and Infosys and Wipro, these are some companies. like 80 percent of students get placements and the highest package is about 15 lakhs and the average is 4 lacs.

Sports events and participation in different clubs.
Foreign exchange of students (this year sent to new york).

Dislikes

No Fests or freshers at all. Every year same scene.
Extend the college timings a lot .nearly 9am to 4pm.

Placements are good in noncore companies but there is a shortage of placement in the core companies. Mainly there are mass recruiters like tcs infosys wipro (offer nearly 3.6 -4 Lpa) some good companies are also there which offer nearly 9 lpa. 85% placement in the noncore company. 60% placement in a core company.

Likes

Campus life is quite good if we talk about the campus
Library is very large, so you can avail any books you want, specially there is a digital library too
Teachers are quite supportive and you can interact with them anytime you want

Dislikes

Sometimes there are fights going on outside the college for which a lot of students have to face problems. Management needs to take care of this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen data science and computer science engineering because of my aspirations. Faculty: student = 1:60 Almost Teachers are highly qualified for an engineering college. The difficulty of passing exams depends on the students, still almost everyone gets passed. Questions come from notes taught in class and if you are clever enough, to solve pyqs of the university, a lot of questions get repeated

Talking about placements i am a bit disappointed it should be better being one of the best college in west bengal

Course Curriculum Overview:

So , i am currently inrolled in btech programme of 4 years ( CSE specialised) . The ratio is some what around 1:10. Many are ph.D, all have master's degree . Our institution is autonomous so its has its own schedule and timing for exams as per give it's conducted and exams are decent not hard nor easy

My opinion on heritage institute of technology, Kolkata

Likes

Placements is very nice in this college,all CSE/it students get placed.
Campus is very nice ,a student can live a better campus Life here.
Teachers are well educated and all are graduated from jadavpur university.

Dislikes

Fees is quite high for a middle class family.
There is very less amount of fests and programs.
There is no hostel facilities provided by college.

Placement Experience:

Placements in this college is quite nice in comparison to other private colleges of west Placements of CSE/it/ece is almost full.coziva was latest recruiter which offered 10lpa package to candidates under CSE it ECE.

Nice college life with some cons

Likes

The campus is airy and a nice place to hang out.
The college canteen has a variety of food which are generally quite affordable.
The classrooms are well-designed with proper benches. The laboratories are also nice.

Dislikes

Despite having a good campus, no fests were held.
Cold water is only available is one of the class buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well-designed and there are many dedicated faculty members who are mostly ready to help. Semester exams are always held timely and they can be aced through some diligence. Within the semester, assignments are given and class tests are held, which help in the preparation

The ambiance of college is very beautiful
The canteen food is very tasty and any one love it
Their is no ragging, and senior are very friendly

Dislikes

Their are no feast in college also in school you can see many feast are happening

From 3rd year the placement was started. Wipro, Airtel, Microsoft, google, tech Mahindra, tcs or many more renowned companies. Their is the highest package is 38 lpa by Microsoft and other companies give 12 lpa 90%of students have got placement

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
