IEM Kolkata (IEM Saltlake) Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course curriculum & faculty members are good & supportive. The faculty-student ratio is 15:100. Industry experts & PPT and One to one and one-to-many interaction basis. 2 mid semester before 1st sememster and same process till 4th semester. The exam is moderate.

From the 2nd semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Many companies are used to coming to the college to offer jobs to the students. We used to give the interviews for the selection.

starting from 3rd year placement starts and its process starts from 4th sem company visit the campus from 5th sem and many reputed companies like Deloitte,TCS, Wipro ,Sap,Federal bank and other it giants recruit here

Students are eligible to sit for placements from 3rd year. Companies like British Telecom mostly hired students last year. Other companies like Accenture, and Amazon also offer placements. It is also possible for students to get pre-placement offers from the companies they are doing their internships. Although this completely depends on the student's merit and performance. Almost 80% of students the interviews. After getting the degree I want to do a job for 1-2 years and then do my MBA.

From 5th semester students are eligible for applying to campus placements. WIPRO, TCS, COGNIZANT, HDFC BANK, ICICI BANK, AMAZON, AND many more companies come and visit and hire the students. I am applying for the campus placements and hope to get a job through that and if not, I think I can bag one job off campus with the various soft skills and academic skills I've got from the college itself.

Faculty member too good mainly CSE department is much better approx 75000 per semester fee only first semester fees 95000. Teachers are highly qualified and responsible , placement record almost 100%. Most of the students take admission in CSE stream in this college.

Placement is really good provided by the college end. In our batch, the highest package went up to 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is between 6 to 6.5 lakhs per annum. While the lowest package was 4.8 lpa

The place of college is more flexible. It provides placement for around 80% of enrollment students. We suggest everyone must enrolled in IEM kolkata west Bengal. It is most suitable for students in engineering

Campus placement starts in the Final year. Generally, core companies do not visit. So everyone is placed in the IT sector. Some students by their merit get very high campus hefty packages. Almost the entire batch gets placed.

After the end of the 6th semester i.e. 3rd year in a 4-year course, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited last year include Oracle, Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Mindtree, Infosys, Capgemini, cognizant, and many more. The highest package offered was 24lpa by Adobe for the software engineer role. Almost all the students (who have no backlog and have 75% attendance) get the placement. The placement percentage is around 99%
