I took OJEE .I score 17513. I opted this college because Orissa Engineering College (OEC) is the first private engineering college to be established in Odisha. It was set up way back in 1986 when the concept of private education was yet to be understood by people. Orissa Engineering College is the result of the vision of Late Shri Kamini Kanta Patnaik, who laid the foundation of what is today one of the best technical institutes in the state and the Country. OEC is a part of Nabajyoti Charitable Trusts endeavour to provide quality education. The college was started with an aim to provide quality technical education to a wider domain of illustrious students of the state of Odisha in particular and the nation in general. Orissa Engineering College is affiliated to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology and has been approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).

Overall Orissa engineering college has made a remarkable change in my academic life. It has provided its best it can do. Those 4 years were like golden period for us.

The classes are running good now and so the labs are. Management will provide many things during the campus selection time whic is the best thing for a student. The college is developing with infrastructure also which is also a good sign.

I had appeared for JEE mains and scored 89. OEC is the 1st private college in bhubneswar to provide technical education. Admission are done through counselling process of odisha state.

Yes oec has organized many state level seminar on mechanics workshop. It has orissa second biggest auditorium among other techbnical institutes. Many state and national level competition and seminars are held in oec.
