Course Curriculum Overview:
Don’t know where/what is going wrong here, but something serious is wrong. None of the top companies come here for summers or final placements, and in case some do, they are for roles different from the roles they would hire at other top schools. At one point it could have been a “Marketing” oriented college- but to live under that shadow now will be lying to yourself. None of the top marketing companies (think FMCG, media) wants to touch IMT students. Sales is a profile that usually opens up for IMT students- but here’s the sad part: One of our guest profs (he was from the industry) in the second year shared how much we lack in comparison to other B schools when it comes to sales knowledge, know how. So basically- IMT G was never known for anything apart from Marketing. Eventually, the quality came to a level in the school changed from “marketing oriented” to “sales oriented”. And now, the quality has still gone down such that the industry is saying these students are not even good.
