Remarks:

Hansraj College is one of the most reputed colleges of not only Delhi but of India. Hansraj has one of the best faculties of DU. It has multiple cultural societies which leads to overall development of students. It enhances various skills of students which prepare the students for job market. I have chosen BCOM(H) because I was having interest in my accountancy in class 12th. Along with various cultural societies College has a very reputed alumni list and one of the most famous alumni's of Hansraj College is 'Shahrukh Khan' that's why many people know Hansraj as Shahrukh Khan wala college. Also the campus of the college is one of largest in entire DU circuit. Along with it we have fully air- conditioned class rooms which very less colleges are. We have fully air-conditioned library in which you can easily spend your day while studying. We have a very good infrastructure in our college. Along with academics we have multiple sports in our college. In fact, Hansraj has produced various National Level players.

From third year they are eligible for placements and if they want to do internships so they can do it from first year as well by joining the internship cell.

Remarks:

Hansraj is the best college to take admission in commerce stream. They have the best faculty and staff members. A lot of famous personalities like Shah Rukh Khan and Rannvijay Singh have graduated from this college so you get motivated to reach great heights in life. The curriculum is strict and crowd is very enthusiastic. They offer the best placements in the University.

Remarks:

I wanted to get into DU. And I wanted to get into the music scene and also study economics from a decent college. Hansraj was the best option available for me. Also a senior from school was already placed in the same college, course and was also a part of the music scene so I knew people there behore-hand.

A college where dreams come true

Placement Experience:

As I have discussed earlier that the on-campus placement was very few as there were not enough recruiters for our field. But off-campus placement in the coaching institute was very high. One can easily get a job of about 50-60k in this industry. Every institute like Fitzee, Aakash, Allen recruited students from our batch. Though not all wanted to apply for jobs some of them wanted to study more so they applied for Ph.D. in different fields of physics and went for higher studies. The percentage of people who went for higher studies was 40% and around 30% got placed in a coaching institute and the rest went for competitive exams. After getting Master's degree I too went for the coaching institute at first and got a salary of about 50k but then after some time I left the job, and went for the PhD in astronomy.

Remarks:

The college is situated ina nice campus. The faculty of our college is good. The college is divided in three blocks. There is a separate block B only for science courses. All the rooms in block A are air conditioned. The library of our college is fully tech based. Canteen food is also good.

Delhi University is one of the best universities around India. I chose Economics(H) because I wanted to know more about our economy and how it works. I chose Hansraj because it is in the top 10 colleges of India, also it's infra is really good, fully air conditioned, gym and big canteen.

Remarks:

It's one of the top colleges of DU. Its faculty of commerce is really good infact one of the best in DU. It was best college I was getting in DU according to my merit for my course. This college provides you with lots of exposure. The college has a reputation for good placements. The thing like the most about the college is that teachers and seniors are really helpful there is a kind inclusivity. I opted for B.com(H) because I liked the subjects and had commerce stream in 12th class and had an aim of getting a college placement and as for the fact college placement for b.com and eco (Hons ) stream is higher in comparison to other courses.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
