LSR Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students are eligible form fourth year for the placements. There are private schools that come for placements in the college. It depends upon the hardwork and interests of the students where they want to. I have not decided my plans after doing the course B.El.Ed. Some students do not wish to sit in the placements since they want to study further and persue courses such as M.Ed. and B.Ed.

LSR has a splendid placement record with dream companies like McKinsey,Bain to HUL and Marico, who come to campus to recruit every year. If you've palns to work after graduation and prepare for placements then you will most definitely land a good offer with a good job profile.

Placements are very good in our college. The package provided in our college is one of the highest here. 70% of economics students got placed to very good companies with package 7+ lacks per annum. The highest package was 15 lakh per annum and the average is 8-9 lakh. I want to do my masters after college. So I am applying for colleges that have wonderful masters in Economics opportunities like ISI, DSE, JNu, IGIDR etc.

The placements here are very good. Students become eligible for campus placements from their third year. Many top companies like BAIN AND CO., BLACKROCK, etc. visit to campus with very good stipends. They mostly recruit for the post of the data analyst. The highest placement offer is 30LPA and the average placement offer is 9.4LPA. I plan for further studies after my graduation.

B.Sc. Mathematics has a vast scope in the field of banking, research, and specialization in particular subjects is always an option to choose for further graduation. The faculty-student ratio is very good and supportive as all teachers are cooperative and mainly focus on the analysis of the topic rather than theory. All professors have completed their Ph.D. and have amazing teaching methods as they explain topics using graphs and theorems which clear the mindset and gave rise to many perceptions which make the class very interactive. We have to give exams once at the end of 6 months semester. They were quite difficult to pass and score good marks but consistency could make it possible.

The students get eligible for placement starting their last semester in college. There are many reputed management firms and organizations that hire students from our campuses. Most of the time it's the Economics and commerce, maths, statistics students getting placed. However, there are the possibility for others as well.

The placement cell of LSR works relentlessly in the pursuit of providing placement offers and internships to the students. Reputed companies like Bank Of America, Citi Bank, EY Parthenon, FTI Consulting visit LSR for placements. Besides enriching workshops on a range of topics like consulting, CV preparation, Group discussion preparation are conducted periodically. New companies recruiting interns include HUL and Puma. Fellowship opportunities like Teach for India fellowship, Gandhi fellowship, EY fellowship are also available. Even though the covid-19 pandemic impacted placements, the highest package offered was INR 30LPA while the average package was INR 9.4 LPA. Students across all streams including psychology, journalism, history were placed and it was not restricted to commerce and economics departments.

LSR has an active Placement Cell, the highlight of the college. It brings internship opportunities and job offers for its students. It is headed by 5 coordinators, 2 sub-coordinators, a Research & Training Head and a Treasurer, who are supported by 31 department representatives, 25 members and 11 core team members. LSR brings in internship opportunities for the first, second and third-year students including summer internship programs for the second and third years. Bank of America, HUL, Puma and Citibank have recruited interns. In the academic year 2019-20, 100 companies visited the campus to offer jobs to students of which 110 were recruited. Industry giants like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, LEK Consulting, Accenture, Gartner, FTI Consulting, Citibank and EY Parthenon were invited. Despite the economic slump due to COVID-19, the highest package offered was INR 30 LPA and the average package was INR 9.4 LPA.

Students are eligible for campus placements from their first semester only. Many companies provide offers and opportunities for internships for the students such as IGNOU, My Captain, etc. The companies provide a stipend to the students according to their or it may be fixed. Wages can range from 500-20000 or above it as well according to performance. Students of any percentage can get the placement unless specified. After getting the degree I will be attempting the UPSC exam and other civil services exams.

Being a student of history we have minimal opportunities for placements but if you pursue other courses of course you have many opportunities to grab. We have our placement cell which provides you with all information on the placement opportunities that is available to all the students of the departments.
