After 3rd year one can be eligible for placement, lido visited at my time of placement now it's increasing the placement cell gives a lot of opportunities now. Package offered is around 3-7 LPA. 10% student get placement, my plan is to pursue higher study after degree

Students are eligible for placements from the 5th semester with basic criteria being more than 6 cgpa and no active backlogs. Generally the placements are very scarce when it comes to the literature courses as compared to the management courses where company usually offers an average salary of 3-4Lpa CTC. I plan to pursue masters after this.

I am passionate about reading and writing thus I choose English. Journalism wasn't meant for me as I am an introvert. There were around 50 students in class and the department had around 10-12 PhD professors. All the professors were Ph.Ds. Few were from JNU and others from IIT. They gave weekly assignments which were reviewed with feedback. One internal test is 20 marks for each subject. They often used to guide and point out errors in the test as well. The odd semester examination was held in November and December and the event was held in May. We have given a winter and summer break post the exams. The exams are not tough but lengthy. They are strict in checking. A 6 sgpa is a good grade.

* I have a great interest in knowing about history, how things evolved from the past. * All teachers are well qualified in their respective fields (ph.D) * It was not difficult to pass. You can easily pass exams.

The placement cell recently started becoming active and companies have started coming to our college for placement opportunities. Students become eligible in their last sem for the placements. The average package is about 3-4 lac.

Placement & Internship Cell is the one which is responsible for getting companies to the college. This cell provides internships as well as placements for the students. Internships are available for every student of every year as well as for pass-outs. Whereas, placements are only for the students, who are in their 3rd year & for pass-outs. Every year companies like KPMG, EY & HCL come to our college. Last year, 78 students were selected by KPMG, where the average package was around 5 LPA.

Placements are given from the 5th semester and there are various companies that visited the college including google and amazon that provided a package of 8 lakhs per annum. Due to covid 19 no. Of companies got reduced drastically last year. I am hoping that it will be alright after this pandemic. My plans are to start a startup after my graduation.

Final year students were eligible to get placements, fewer companies use to visit, I only saw Wipro, offering salary packages of 3 lacs rupees, my plans were very different as it wasn't related to college placements.

65% Entrance exam weightage and 35% boards

6th-semester student receives placements. KPMG had visited this college and give 13 lakh packages and other startups like monster energy and dream 11 have visited this college. Highest package is 12 lakh. Average package is 5 to 6 lakhs. 40 -45% of students get placement. My plan is to do an MBA after my graduation.
