The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

My Campus Life

Likes

Faculties of the college are highly qualified and experienced. All the teachers and professors are very helpful. As a fresher I felt very comfortable being with them.
The college is full of greenary and various types trees which gives it a fantastic look.
All seniors are very friendly and helpful. There is a good campus life.

Dislikes

In the starting of my semester the thing I didn't liked was moving from one room to another for attending the classes.
At the afternoon time the canteen is full of students and is very difficult to get some food.
Time table was a problem there for me in every semester.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students become eligible for various internships and after completing the 6th semester they can get placement. Companies like Accenture, Blinkit, Deloitte, Paytm, and Asian Paints have recruited many students from the college. The highest package offered is 19 lpa and the average package is around 6 lpa. Across 25-30 % of the students get recruitment from the campus. I have planned to study abroad after my graduation.

Likes

The canteen and amphitheatre of college is too good
The faculty of college is very supportive

Dislikes

There is no ac in classrooms this makes problem in summer

I have to go into research chemistry. student: faculty ratio is 1:6. every teacher is well qualified majority of them are phd. lab assistants are also well qualified. their teaching method is also very good and their teaching way practical. exams are in semester format.

Likes

It has a good and big campus. It has good crowd. Society are good and diverse. Beautiful girls are there in campus.

Dislikes

College is not maintained properly having its big campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't choose this course. I got this course based on my numbers. I want to pursue others. The student ratio is generally good. The faculties are also good and have great knowledge. Faculties are very trained. Graduated from IIT, some from DU itself. Exams are semester-wise. Only internal exams are there. It's easy to pass the exam. If someone reads one month before the exam he will easily pass the exam.

Likes

Good faculty this makes student to get the far view of future.
Campus have good canteen and amphitheatre
Sports facilities are also very good in college.

Dislikes

The violence in the college which I have seen a few times.
Drinking water is not good in the college.
Poor management of several things can be seen.

5th-semester students are eligible for placement. I don't have proper data regarding the placement but I have seen many seniors get good placement from college. I will go for a master's in statistics and do research in it.

Basically, the faculty was moderate I didn't expect much more from the faculty and the curriculum of the course is the same almost just slightly different way and the time to teach the syllabus is used, you can learn a lot by opting for physics hons.

DELHI UNIVERSITY - a dream for thousands of students

i like the liveliness of the campus,its societies,faculties ,hostels

Dislikes

infrastrucure can be improved,administration is lazy,collge authorities are not helpful.

Placement Experience:

As far as I know, students in their fifth semester are eligible to participate in the placement drive. During our college's placement season, we had several reputed companies such as Ernst and Young, Redseer Consulting, Tresvista, De Shaw, and Deloitte visiting our campus. The highest package offered was 20 lakhs, while the average package was 10 lakhs. Around 50-60 students were placed. After graduation, I plan on pursuing a Master's degree in Economics.

The crowd of ramjas

Likes

Crowd of this college as student of diffrent streams comes together to study
Cafeteria price as very low but the items are very less
Garden and ground of the college is very good

Dislikes

Management of the college is very bad as there is lack of apark in them to make the college better
Security as everyone enters the college without any I'd card
Hostel is too small ie for very less no. Of student

I chose coz I like physics. The student-faculty ratio is around 1 teacher per 40 students for my course. Teachers are highly qualified but don't know how to teach us properly. Semester exams are held regularly and as this is a hons. Course so the paper is difficult.

ACING COLLEGE LIFE WITH RAMJAS

Likes

There are many things to like about the college firstly it is a big college with good space to roam and chill.
The college has wifi and canteen facility where students can eat a variety of food.
The college is clean and well maintained with washrooms and proper floors and lift.

Dislikes

There are some cons also like the roads in college is under construction so the surface is not that good now for walking.
The ground is not well maintained and should be watered and the grass should be trimmed regularly.
The classes are sometimes cancelled and the college should make it necessary to make attendence 75 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good for some courses like Bcom h, Economics, Stats Hons, Maths etc. The placements are given when you are in your 3rd/ 4th year through the placement cell of the college. Various companies visited our college like Deloitte, DShaw, Wipro, Decathlon ,Paytm etc. The average package is 7.4 lpa and the highest package in Ramjas College is 21.5 lpa till now. The profiles offered to students are usually for executive managers, consultants, etc. A total of 106 + students are placed in the year 2022-23 by Placement cell and the placement rate is 52 % approx. My plans after completing this degree wil be to look for a job if I get one from the college or do masters.

Likes

Environment and culture of colleges and opportunities.
Top Teachers that are highly qualified and have done PHD.
Administration and college website that they manage.

Dislikes

Water supply they are of poor quality and unhygienic.
Lab instruments are not working properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BSC physics hons had a very good scope and I love to study physics. Student-faculty ratio is very good 60:1 a perfect combination. Faculties had done Ph.D. and some faculties had done Masters only and an associate professors in the college.

i like the campus life of my college because we have a very spacious campus and there are more students as compared to other colleges.
hostel facility for students and have separate hostel for both boys and girls.
Teachers and administration staff are of very kind nature.

Dislikes

i don't like the politics of ramjas for which it is infame.
i also dislike the infrastructure of ramjas because it is very old.
library of ramjas also not good the books are very old and dusty.

The placements of my college are below normal, from 6th sem students become eligible for campus placement the companies visited in my college are Deloitte, Ernst and Young, KPMG, Wipro, etc the highest package is 19 lakhs, and the average package is about 6 lakhs and the placements percentage is about 5. I will go for the master's after completing my UG degree.
