The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

nice college

Likes

The only which I like about our college is the base that we all get to build up in political field. Let it be first years or second year, let it be a backward caste student or high caste student , all get a fair chance to elect, to stand in politics.
Societies in our college are very nice. They are very active and work genuinely for the welfare of students.
Faculty staff members are very nice and good here. Professors are really very very helpful.

Dislikes

We don't have NCC in our college. I dislike this thing very much and we even talked to the faculty members but there is no response on this thing.
Security. I hate the security system in our college. Anyone can enter anytime and guards don't check anyone. Just sometimes when some strict orders are their, they start doing their job very well otherwise not at all a secure and safe campus.
Discrimination between departments. Ba program students will not get the permission for one thing and other departments like history honours will get the permission for the same. This issue i have noticed a lot in our campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I have opted for is ba program with philosophy as major and political science as minor. If I talk about the course curriculum, we take our 1 or sometimes 2-hour classes from Monday to Saturday and I'm really satisfied with that. There is not so much pressure of attending the classes and bringing the assignments. Our teachers are so nice that they never postpone or miss our class and are always patient with us. Our syllabus seems very easy to us just because of our professors. When I took my first-semester exam, I was so confident that I'd surely get through it with good marks just because our professors have taught us very nicely, clearing all our doubts. We also have our doubt classes scheduled for the main subjects that we study. The faculty members are good and very nice. Just sometimes we have to put extra effort when we want any fest or program to occur of our choice. Faculty members are a little selfish on some issues but it's okay.

Brief Introduction about Ramjas College.

Likes

The campus is green and therefore is cool during summers and has a large ground too for basking in winters.
People can explore themselves and their hidden talents, thanks to the opportunities provided.
The faculty here is the best and I like to attend classes.

Dislikes

The People here in general are very rude and unwelcoming, its difficult to make friends and find one of our own here.
Infrastructure is outdated and old, repairing is not an option the college requires complete revamping.
Administration is slow and sometimes it feels like they have lost the enthusiasm to help the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course and curriculum are apt and parallel to the Public Service Syllabus which helps me in improving my intrinsic knowledge about the subjects. Ramjas College is one of the finest colleges in North Campus Delhi has the best faculty and the best professors like P. C. Tulsian in the Commerce Department. Teachers here are highly qualified and experienced and completed their studies at JNU and DU etc. The teachers here know what to teach and also inspire us.

A great place to learn new things and make friends

Likes

I liked the campus life as it allowed me to make new friends.
College library was one of the favourite places and I spent most of the time there.
Faculty was cordial and helped in case of doubt.

Dislikes

No job security as placement cell focused mainly on commerce students.
Opportunities available to students were not like SRCC and Hindu college.
Experiments in Physics lab took most of the time. So, little time left for other activities.

Placement Experience:

Students who are in the 5th and 6th semesters are eligible for placement. KPMG and EY are some of the companies that visited the college. The highest package was around 6 lakhs, and the average package was 3 lakhs. Less than 10% of students in the entire college got placements.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements at the college are quiet good. Many renowned companies like Deloitte, EY, Zomato, etc visit the college for campus placements. The average package is around 6 lakhs and the highest is around 19 lakhs. I'll do Mba after college.

Review of ramjas college DU

Likes

Greenery. Campus is very beautiful and it is largest among any du colleges
It brings very decent opportunities and have great faculty
It has amazing societies and they help one to grow career wise

Dislikes

Tech societies should be introduced so students who are interested may join
Some tech oriented sessions should be introduced for students from other departments who are interested
Annual fest should be continued as this in one year gives students amazing experience and help them to learn management and all

Placement Experience:

Zomato, bajaj capital, snapdeal, godrej, de Shaw and Co, PWC, Deloitte, and Digit are the companies that have visited. The highest package was 19 lakh and 5.6 was avg package. My plans are to get a good package and start with the corporate world

Likes

Infrastructure of the college - Infrastructure is quite good as it got a new building in 2017
Societies - Societies offer good opportunities to grow.
Placements - Highest is 21.5 LPA and average is 7.4 LPA

Dislikes

Placements - It could have been more better but it is quite good still.
Politics - All DU politics is centered at Ramjas, however it has changed overtime.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good at our campus being average at 7.4 LPA and highest at 21.5 LPA. 60-70% of the batch used to be placed every year with the number 4 top placements in North Campus. Ramjas College has a good reputation with a legacy of over 106 years which is still to be carried and this can be seen in the placements also

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to pursue physics so I choose the MSC physics course. Delhi University has one of the best physics departments in our country. The faculties are also very good. There are almost 1 faculty over 30 students. All faculties are Ph.D. holders and many of them are senior professors. Every 6 months they held term exams but it is very difficult to pass because Delhi University is known for its exam legacy.

I loved the greenery of the college so much
I love the faculty of the English department
I love the students of my class they are just awesome

Dislikes

Fests are not being held at a regular basis
Syllabus is tried to complete at a very fast pace

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose English Hons because English is my favourite subject and I love reading. There are a total of 84 students in our class. The faculty is awesome with amazing professors. The exams are being held timely but it's not very difficult. If you prepare well you can easily get a good cgpa

Ramjas a mediocre college at the best colleges list

The spacious and beautiful campus with so many trees and plants

Dislikes

Class cancellation culture. they cancel class and dont even tell
The college is polittically hyperactive and exposed

To the extent I have heard Placements are amazing at Ramjas. Since I have never been a part of placements I can't tell you much about them but yes I have heard that placements are held two ways at Delhi University one is on-campus placement and in one all the colleges sit together for placement

A nice struggling life

Likes

Our campus life is too great there are lot of things to get engaged in and multiple places to visit
We have very diversed crowd people for all over the country and the world came to our college
Our college is politically acitve which gives different kind of exposure and opportunities.

Dislikes

Our college admin is not supportive at all. It's very hard to organise something in college because of them.
Library infrastructure is not good. Lack of new books.

Placement Experience:

Only students from BCom, Economics and Statistics get placed at all. Students are eligible from 3rd year for campus placements there are a lot of companies who came to our college Deloitte Paytm is two of the names. The highest package was around 11 LPA and the average package was around 5.7 LPA. A total of 80% of students get placements. Since there is an extremely low chance to get placement from my course I'm planning to do MBA after college.
