The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

Placement Experience:

In my course (statistics hon.) there are about 100% placements, their average is 8lpa and the highest is approx 20lpa which is very good the company visited are Vipro, TCS, Deliot etc. After the degree, my plan is to go to ISS

Ramjas - A Place to Be

College life is the best, it is a time where you grow and develop as a person. Everything is nice and fun in Ramjas.
The societies are at its best. You make a lot of new friends through these societies. It is a place were your network expands it will help you in future also.
Faculty is superb in Ramjas. They are very fun and chill, not strict, they give a lot of freedom.The always motivate and support us.

Placement Experience:

Ramjas College provides a very good placement for its students in all courses. Every year the Gross Package goes on increasing. Our college conducts a lot of seminars and speaker sessions that can help students in the interview and for their CV as well. As per the 2022 report the Highest Package was 21 LPA. and the Average Package was around 6 LPA. More than 100 recruiters are there and a very good amount of offers are also released. Our recruiters include well-known MNCs: Deloitte, DE Shaw&Co, Pwc, TresVista, edwisor, Blume Global, Wipro, Byjus, and many more.

Life at Ramjas!

Likes

A campus which is full of trees and greenery inside the college campus
The societies are pretty active through out the year
The canteen is very affordable and food is good

Dislikes

You can see conflicts here and there, boys love clashing and fighting in ramjas
The benches and old building are not very comfortable to set for long hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose English Honours at Ramjas college because I heard from people that the Ramjas English department is the best among all departments in University, after getting the admission I just can't agree enough with this. This is probably the best place, the department feels like home, and the ratio is about 1:20 All the facilities are highly intellectual and soft-spoken, they teach the subject so well, I enjoy all my lectures. term exam is announced by University so it's pretty structured and it's not very hard to pass it, it just takes a few readings

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics hons is a highly demanded course. It is one of the most elite courses of Delhi University. Professors in economics department are world class and they have a deep hold in there subject. Exams are also very rigorous.

The oldest gem of DU: Ramjas college

Likes

greenery and lawns inside the college provide a very soothing feeling and best to hangout in the winters as the sun shines
the auditorium is huge, the grounds too. Ramjas has the biggest campus in the north campus

Dislikes

there is a lot of political activism and especially during election time, a lot of ruckus is created

College placements are just fine. The average package is 5.6 lakhs and the highest went up to 19 lakhs. Companies like pwc, Delottie, and de Shaw come to recruit at Ramjas. The percentage of students who get placed is minimal. Most of the students go on to do masters or opt for off-campus placements. 127 offers were made and 84 recruiters came to campus. Students in their final year are eligible to sit for placements.

Ramjas And its Life

Likes

Campus, Crowd, vibrant societies and library
I like the lift system in my college which is open to both students and teachers
I love the college environment which gives a tranquil atmosphere.

Dislikes

I dont like canteen as it doesn't offer varieties as compared to other colleges
I dont like its amphitheatre which they can maintain nicely
I dont like some teachers too who are always ranting

Placement Experience:

Placements offered are mostly related to commerce background students and the average package is of 6 lac. The kind of companies coming for placement is not always good, and placement cell needs to improve also. But overall it does provides opportunities.

Ramjas College: Through the lens of a first year

Likes

Campus with beautiful environment and space for activities.
Rigorous society culture and learning opportunities associated with it.
Fests are a highlight of the year with amazing events, cultural evenings.

Dislikes

Lack of basic amenities like wifi, air consitioning.
Because of magnitude of courses offered, crowd quality is not so good
Teachers do not actively promote students and societies.

Placement Experience:

There is an active placement committee that includes the placement cell and Ramjas Consulting Society, both of which have accolades to their names. There are various companies that visit campus including Deloitte, KPMG, HCL, DE Shaw, etc. The average package is around 6.5 LPA. The highest package is 21.5 LPA.

Insights Of Ramjas

Likes

Location ( In the heart of north campus) near Sudama Tea Stall and Kamala Nagar also near to metro
Transportation is readily available and also cheap. You can commute through DTC and metro
Campus is very beautiful and diverse with good infrastructure and lot of greenry

Dislikes

Management is not very good especially the Administration Staff
The faculty is not very good for B.Com Hons
The college canteen is very bad . Food tastes like hell

I am pursuing CA so is BCom Hons the best course to do side by side. The student-faculty ratio is sadly in the department 1:200. Most of the faculty had done master's and diplomas in their respective fields. In DU all colleges with the same semester have their exams at the same time. The gap between one-semester exam to another sem exam is likely to be 4-5 months and if you study properly then it is easy to pass the exam, after all, it is DU.
