JGEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The year wise record of the placement is quite diminishing in last few years. This is due to improper atmosphere of the college. That's it.

As a whole, to conclude its a good college for technical lovers and as well there are many clubs for students for entertainment and increasing practical knowledge.

The good sides are well interaction between students and teachers, senior junior relation, alumni support etc. The bad sides are lack of communication skills, bad infra structure.

Other than the sunny morning we also enjoy our hostel life. The junior senior bonding is quite good and helpful. In the morning a glimpse of the kanchenjunga can be seen from our hostel terrace.

Lack of faculty, moderate academic system, bad infra structure, poor atmosphere of campusing are the main points for the improvement of this college.

Good thing is most of the departments are full of faculty members except ECE departments. And the bad remarks is of course about the bad infra structure.

The infra structure of this college has a major fall down. For the betterment of this college the authority has to take proper action to build up again the infra structure.

No comments for faculty. What I have to say is the college should grow the infrastructure as soon as possible. The academic system will be improved then only.

We have a huge area of campus with 4 boys hostel and one ladies hostel. We have succeeded in making it a ragging free campus. We would just be happy to see if the infrastructure of our college improves a bit.

The infrastructure of the college building is not upto mark and laboratory kits of some departments are out of date or damaged or doesn't functions properly. So since it is a government engineering college so we hope to see advancement and improvement of college and college campus in future.
