Faculty:faculty of my course is well experienced and a master in its field. they adopt a method of teaching that best suits the needs of the students.
Canteen area i liked the most because all our friends get together and chill together share our feeling and make best use of it
They recognize that financial barriers shouldn't limit potential, and so their affordability extends to a diverse range of scholarship opportunities.

Dislikes

There is a lack of accommodation facility. most of the colleges do not offer hostel facility which is of major concern.
The perception my be different for different students but for me the campus life was not good , the fests are also ot that big as compared to other colleges in north campus .
It was a very messy and difficult process as it cover the chapters which was deleted by cbse and the score required to get north campus is also very high .

SGTB Khalsa College-A Complete Experience

Likes

The infrastructure was very good..it was one of the best in University of Delhi.the playing ground is very big and very well maintained..also a basketball court and tennis court.
The classrooms were well-maintained.Most of the classroom were air conditioned.
Apart from the academics .my college is also known for it's sports activities. Each year a inter department competition is organised and everyone has the opportunity to play for their department

Dislikes

There aren't many things to dislike.. but maybe a suggestion that is to routine maintenance of our basketball court..the net is sometimes torned and not very well maintained

Placement Experience:

Placement cell of our college is excellent..they work all over the year to provide great internship and placement opportunities to all the students..The average package of my course was around 4-5 lakhs which was very good for an undergraduate

Likes

Supportive teachers , large campus, canteen
Large library , computer labs , classes , infrastructure of college is attractive
NCC, NSS , youth festivals in which students shows their talent

Dislikes

Nothing, but students fights in college , and ragging
Sometimes benches of your classes are dirty
Sometimes students of other colleges are entered in our college

My brother suggests me to join this course, in this course we perform practical on computer, for improvement in this course they hired good faculty for teach DSA , because in computer science field DSA is very important

Likes

The college has a diverse and vibrant student crowd from various demographic areas. Basically, the college is more emphasised on Sikh traditions , but it is inclusive of students from different cultural and religious backgrounds.
The social life at Sgtb khalsa is very active , with a wide range of society and events , including fests like Lashkara which seeks participation from a huge number of students.
The faculty is also very well educated and have gained expertise in their areas of study. The faculty is collaborative as well , they do cooperate with students by understanding their needs and problems.

Dislikes

The infrastructure requires some improvement and renovation. The plaster of the walls have shed off and the fans don’t work in some of the classes as well. There is lack of management of the premises.

The placement cell of the college is very active in bringing companies to campus and help students get placements or interships. Wipro, EY, Delloite, Accenture are some of renowned companies that visits college every year. The highest package offered was for Rs. 25 lakhs and the median package is of Rs. 6 lakhs only. Majorly, the students of commerce background are given priority bynthe companies for getting placements through them.

Likes

I liked the environment the most. It was quite friendly.
Teachers are great and very supportive. They will help you in your personal life too:
There is a place called jannat in the campus which it is. After lectures students come and chill here.

Dislikes

I disliked the placement opportunities. There are no placement for bsc students which i found very disappointing.
No other opportunities like internship etc . No guidance for that

I would rate it a 8/10 experiences of faculty members . Though they were all good but placemnets education was a big drawback . No opportunites were provided and there was no guidance for yet . For education purpose it was all good

SGTB Khalsa college : The Sports Academy

Likes

The infrastructure is the thing which makes khalsa college different it have different infrastructure than other colleges, also its ground is biggest in the campus
The faculties are friendly in nature they co-operate with you if you need any help.
The girls to boys ratio is almost equal and there is equal importance given to them

Dislikes

The placement rate is declining in the college..
There's no Saturday off like other DU colleges

Placement Experience:

From.5th semester students are eligible to apply for placements Some famous companies are Deloitte, Kpmg, McKenzie,etc Highest package was 21.5 laks whereas aaverage stands for 6-7lakhs p.a. My plans are pursuing my CA along with my placement from the college

Likes

The location of the college is the biggest pro as it is situated in north campus .
The fee is quite affordable and nominal.
The quality of education provided is grate and the labs are fully equipped.

Dislikes

My college being a sikh minority college offers less diversity as compared to other colleges in terms of students being from different backgrounds and cultures.
There is need for improvement in infrastructure at some points as the college building is 70-80 yrs. old.
College gym is only accessible to people coming from sports background.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placements, however it is very limited in my particular course as most people choose to go for higher studies both in Indian and abroad. People also go for UPSC CSE examination and SSC CGL examination.

First of all i liked my college campus its very big .
Their is very cheap cantene available for students.
Their is big cricket ground and auditorium for various activities .

Dislikes

Building structure is very damaged i suggest to renovate college building
There are very political acticities are held in college

College administration is very good they help us to choos our subject . Because there is cbcs course has mandotry to choose one choise of subject whatever you want. The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective is very good .

The biggest advantage of this college is fully air conditioned rooms. The air conditioners are regularly working here and if sometimes there is a need to repair them the college administration is very punctual about it.
The second best thing is the sports infrastructure of this college. Huge cricket ground, tennis court, Table tennis rooms, basketball court, gym all facilities are available here.
Also the girls boys ratio is very impressive here. In my class the girls boys ratio is 50:50, which is really very impressive.

Dislikes

I think the classrooms are bit outdated and need painting and other small infra improvements.

Placement Experience:

As I am a fresher i don't know much about placements but I have heard that the students of Economics, Commerce, Business Economics, Maths and Stats are placed very well. The avg package is somewhat around 6LPA per annum. my plans for future is to apply for masters.

The college's infrastructure is upgraded and well equipped, classrooms are airconditioned and wifi is available across the campus. College also has great sports facilities with a big ground and sports equipment is also provided.

Dislikes

The administration does not seem to be serious, they are not available to reach out to most of the time and do not show a positive attitude.

Placement Experience:

Students can go for placements from 5th semester onwards, before that only internships are offered. 170+ offers were made by 103+ companies in the session 2023-24, with highest package of 23.05 lpa and average package being 6.05 lpa. 60% of students who applied for placements got placed, many students opt for masters.

Likes

College environment is amazing. Clean, hygienic environment, spacious college with a large college ground for sports enthusiasts
College societies are very active. Engaging and unique events and competitions are held with exciting rewards, such as case hunts. Society specific seminars are held with successful, diligent speakers time-to-time
Good sponsorship engagement of societies with events and free refreshments

Dislikes

Class lectures are not very much engaging.
Lots of writing work such as assignments, tests, etc. which may not provide any value addition
Language subject in each semester, English in alternative semesters and Hindi in each semester

Placement Experience:

College's placement network is exceptional. Companies such as Nation with NAMO, DE Shaw, McKinsey&Company, Big 4s, Accenture, TresVista, Kotak Mahindra, Alvarez and Marsal, Indian Express, Magicpin, Zomato, etc. were some of the major recruiters out of 103+ companies for the academic session 2023-24. The highest package went to Rs. 23.05 LPA by DE Shaw with a median package of 6 LPA. There were a total of 175+ offers made for the session. Students become eligible for placements from 5th semester.
