Students usually get placement from the 2nd semester onwards. Various companies like pwg, kpmg , amazon, Delloite visit our college. The package tends to be around 20k-50k pm almost 20% of students get placement from the college. My plan is to complete my professional course of ca with college.

B.Ed is a compulsory degree training for the students who are going to pursue their career as teachers of higher secondary level. The procedure of admission can be merit based or entrance based. Students should pass 10+2 or its equivalent exam with an admission test supported by the institute for this.

St. Xavier's College, Kolkata is a reputed institute known for its academic excellence. The main reason of joining was the discipline of college. The education quality of the autonomous institute is such that it's own curriculum and methodology is unique.

The campus provides amazing placement opportunities, more than any other college can, for this course. A company named DE Shaw even offered 23 LPA to students but only 3 managed to clear. Companies such as Accenture and Axxela were among those offering 10+ LPA. Many other companies offered in the range of 6-8 lakhs and the minimum package offered was 3 lakhs. The average placement must be somewhere in the range of 5-7 lakhs per annum.

The students become eligible to be placed from the last semester or third year. Highly reputed companies like Detroit, TCS, and many others come for on-campus recruitment. 85 percent of students are placed and the rest go for further studies. I plan on getting a master's degree after completing my bachelor's.

Students must aware of the college placement website. It depends on how much you see the website. Every day, the college posted offers from big4. About 80-90% of students are placed. Companies like TCS, DELOITTE, EY, ACCENTURE, DE SHAW, TATA, INTERNSHALA, BYJUS, etc. Visited our college.

The students are eligible to sit for placement in Semester 5. The companies visiting the college include a lot of big names including all the Big 4 firms- KPMG, Deloitte, EY & PwC. Other than these Accenture, Zomato, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, etc also visit the college. The placement percentage is decent with the avg salary package hovering around 4.5-5 lpa which may go as high as 21lpa.

The students in semesters 5 and 6 are eligible to opt for the placement. There are a lot of bog companies who come to hire the students. Companies like EY, Wipro, etc visit. This is a valuable addition to the degree which provides a competitive edge in the market. The avg package is 5lakh/annum. A high percentage of students get placed.

They can enroll in the placement cell which helps with placements, Some departments get quite good placements from reputed companies. After getting the degree, I plan on sitting for the JAM MSc entrance exams. Also Really good for other departments like BCom and economics but you usually don't look for placement after graduation in the arts stream. You have to go for masters. So if you're a commerce or a science student and you're looking for a college with good placement after graduation, St Xavier's College is one of the best colleges in the country and in Kolkata the best.

I enrolled in the placement cell of my college before starting my final year, but it was voluntary. Our college is known for good placements but due to the pandemic, the placement opportunities suffered. However, there was no point in enrolling into a placement cell as a Sociology student, since the majority of the placements are offered to the Commerce and Science departments.
