I want to be a writer someday soon and this was the best possible course to enrich my qualities and avail my goal.
The faculty student ratio is approx 1:60. The teachers are very friendly and are ever ready to clarify the query of the students. The faculty is well qualified and most of the professors have doctorate in their respective fields along with highly efficient communication skills.
However, the term exams are conducted within a gap of 4-5 months and a mid semester exam is conducted before every term examination. The course tests the students ability to understand and interpret and hence a student's attentiveness and present mindedness decide whether he/she will pass the examination or not.
From semester 5 i.e final year students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like EY, P and G visit. This is a value addition to the degree which provides competitive edge in the market.Percentage of students getting placements are very high.
I have chosen this college because of its study environment and this college provide a very good faculty members to the student. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. Our faculties are highly efficient and skilled and many of them have a decent experience too. The weekly take exams and always give the answer sheets.
The college has a placement cell to make students well versed in the placement process. However most of the students prefer to go for higher education rather than for a job which is why the placement rate is not very high. Also keeping in mind the current job market , it is not very wise to expect a high pay job after merely having an undergraduation degree. Like most of the students ,I have also planned to go for professional courses after my graduation. However its placement cells provides many opportunities for internships and jobs
I chose this course because I love mathematics and I want to get an honours degree in mathematics. In this college, the faculties are very good. Maximum faculties are PhD holders. Student teacher ratio was 21:4. The teaching method was excellent and very practical. There was 2 semester per year and the exams were quite difficult.
There is a separate department for Campus placement. You have to apply to that department. Campus Placement is not easy. Interviews conducted by different companies and multinational companies go by series of interviews. After clearing all interviews, you got jobs in those companies. Many multinational companies, financial services rendering companies, Big Four select different students based on their performance. The highest pay offered at my time by one of the Multinational Companies was Rs.18 Lakhs per year.
I choose this course because I like to learn more about tax and want yo achieve a good job in a combany. The college provides hight quality facility for the students. The teachers in this college is hight talented and kind hearted. They give their best for students to achieve rank and good marks in university exams. The college provide exams every month so that students can secure good marks in there final exams. The paper given by the college is very difficult for making students work hard more to achieve good marks. The teachers are ready to clear any doubts of students at any time without any hesitation.
From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements
75% of us getting placements
Minimum 15-20 companies visited already that I've seen, 17 students of our department got the placement already
After getting the degree I'll continue my studies for better job opportunities
I choose B.com(Hons) because I belong to a commerce background and as well as my interest in this field. If I have to say something about the faculty over here I would like to admire the infrastructure of the college is so fascinating. The teachers are very helpful and encouraging. Exams were online due to this pandemic but we haven't faced any trouble as we were well trained by our teachers. Exams were quite delayed.
After Bachelors, students generally aim for higher studies like Masters. Also, they apply for internships, and in 90% of cases, they get selected for internships. I want to pursue Masters after completing my bachelor's.
