Likes

The faculty member are great, they help the students in solving their doubts, they have immense knowledge in fhe subjects, they provide us notes and handouts for better understanding of the subjects, they are really friendly and guide us
One more thing which i liked is our library which is the most beautiful and peaceful place to study in a studious environment.
They also help us to fill several other scholarships from the government like swami vivekananda scholarships etc.

Dislikes

Some of the boring lectures make it difficult to understand the subjects
The most stupid thing is we can go to sports arena only when our morning section timings are that is 6:15 to 10:15 AM , after that we cannot go to Sports arena
Some things are not good like the environment and all

The bhawanipur review

Likes

The diverse library, the world class infrastructure, the number of faculty and the fact that educated and professional faculty
The sports Arena - its insane, i mean i dont think any college in kolkata cam have something lile this
The canteen _ Amazing get away to chill and take a break from the class

Dislikes

Too many students, compared to area of the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Vast amount of courses ! Expansive and Research bases courses. Study labs and other required arrangements available. Be it business, management, designing, science. They have it all at one place.

Likes

BESC is great in providing every opportunity to its students from placement drives to internships. Also the college has great faculty who are all very interactive and helpful.
The classrooms are digitalized and air conditioned. They maintain good cleanliness and hygiene. The best part is the infrastructure.

Dislikes

They have a badminton court but not any ground which i think is a con

Placement Experience:

From the second semester onwards the students are eligible for the placement drive. Students who have high skills in fields of coding or finance or other have higher chance of being selected. They assist the students if any trouble is experienced

Infrastructure is good, ac classroom, good facility, library is good, extra circulation activities are much and good,
Good study metrial are provided by the college,
Exams are taken on time, student don't have to rush for anything

Dislikes

Campus area is small, not a study environment, this college is for fun
You will not fill like college its like rich kid school where people just go to make friends and chill nothing else it
This college doesn't give you much opportunity to develop your personality you will not feel like you are in the college

In this college you will not get a vast course option, there are limited course, you can't say it's a big college, teaching method are good, exams timing and frequency are good they are on time, but you will not get good marks as it comes under calcutta university

Firstly starting with the campus, we get a large turf with artificial ground, with a huge sports arena with numerous indoor games like pool, carrom, table tennis and etc. The college has also partnered with Saatvik Catering for Cafeteria.
The canteen/cafeteria is purely veg with optional onion and garlic. Now coming to the infrastructure, we have state of the art elevators with emergency services

Dislikes

Nothing such, but our college could provide undergraduate research opportunities for science and other subjects with young minds.

Placement Experience:

Students at their final year are eligible for placements for BBA, BCom, BSc (Computer) only as per my knowledge, it may have changed also. I have no such plans after attaining the degree, currently I'm focusing on extra curriculars.

It is the reputable institution with overall ranking of college is good. It provide placement and internship facilities
It is very good college for B.Com Honours. Faculty are great.
College fee is affordable. Even the college provide activities for over all personality development of students.

Almost 40-50% students get placed every year. Package is good resulting in 4 -5 lpa. Overall ranking of college is good. The overall ranking of college is 4.1 out of 5. Company website: thebges.edu.in

No attendance so you can opt for professional courses side by side and continue without the hassle of going to college and wasting your time there.

Dislikes

No college life because no one attends college and csmpus is very small this making it a very crowded place

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd semester (2nd year) for campus placements and companies like tata, wipro, pwc hire from here and average package is around 4lpa . Percentage of stdent getting placed is very less.

Likes

The way the teachers divided the syllabus and taught the subjects was very good. They are very understanding and take out time to solve doubts
The faculty is very well versed with what they teach and have a deep and sounded knowledge about the topic

Dislikes

How certain teachers were too much into our personal life's and rude at times

The course is somewhat relevant but some topics in the curriculum is very backdated and the Calcutta University needs to update it's syllabus. Regular exams are held to check the preperation of the students

The faculty is good and their teaching skills are great.
The Library is so peaceful and the best place for the students to study.
This college provides opportunities for dance, and sports too.

Attendance is not mandatory in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course was influenced by the faculty of the college. The teachers and mentors are so good and their teaching skills and mentorship are very amazing. The curriculum helps us to be prepared for further academic pursuits or real-world applications. Further academic pursuits require the basic knowledge which is given through this course to the students. The teaching methods should be improved in the way that the students must be interested in studying and the course curriculum should also be improved. The frequency and timing of exams are also good

Infrastructure , the college building is pretty , the classrooms are air conditioned, the college has almost all facilities required for students. One of my favorite things about the college is its library. Its is well equipped and is well maintained

Dislikes

The laid back attitude. No body gives a damn whether you're coming to college or not. The faculty isn't the problem but the management is. The rules and regulations of the college are very lenient and hence there is no discipline amongst the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The thing made me choose the college is the flexibility with the attendance to be honest. I'm a CA aspirant and I need time to study at home and prepare for the same. This college was providing me that. Pretty average curriculum, no first hand experience you get. Projects could've been better which gives the students a real world experience. Exam difficulty is 7/10

No problem regarding attendance of students

Large library which could be accessed any time...it included computers as well
