The fees structure of delhi university is very simple we have to pay fees semester wise and delhi university fees is also very low .so that's the part i really liked about delhi university .yes delhi university provides scholarship also.
They are very well experienced and most are phd holders, even the guest lecturers are so talented and inspiring and have a way to handle the students.
Last but not the least i liked the infrastructure too..the new building is just awesome. it is the best building among all the colleges.

Dislikes

The benches in the classroom is bad. the white board is also not good
The entrance exam was good but the normalisation process was very disappointed which was for no reason and the biggest game player was obviously the reservation quota(sc/st/obc).
Some teachers are very bad in teaching and they does not focus on student

Review of Zakir Husain Delhi college

Likes

Students are very friendly. Never faced any problem.
Societies are the best part about our college.
College greenery is really nice which makes it beautiful.

Dislikes

Shortage of faculty is a serious problem.
Infrastructure of our college is not good.
Canteen food is not good and not worth the money we pay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and syllabus of political science honors are really nice and worth studying. The faculty of Zakir Husain College is okay as our college is always short of teachers. The teaching methods of teachers are different from teacher to teacher.

Critical Assessment of Zakir

Likes

I liked the campus. It's small but it's good. There are tons of plants. I like college societies. Some societies are doing really well.
I liked the fest and the greenery present in my college.
I liked the crowd. I have many friends. I live the best moments of my life in zhdc.

Dislikes

I don't like the classrooms. There is a need to improve the water taps.
They are not opening the new building. Please open that
Faculty is average. Shortage of teachers.

I choose this course because of my future plans. I am looking forward to taking PSIR as my optional subject in upsc. The faculty is average in my college. There is a shortage of teachers in my college. However, Professors are good and well-trained in their field. There are 2 term exams in a year. It is quite easy to pass them. You just need to go through previous years and you are well good to grace your exams.

I like the exposure that my college provides to us
Faculty is very qualified and supportive.
The library of my college is very big and has a vast variety of books

Dislikes

The new building is not opening despite it is completed
Sometimes in summer the ac of the classes don't work
It has a very small playground. Due to which students are not able to play

I choose this course to improve my command of humanities The college faculty is qualified and very supportive. And the faculty-student ratio is balanced and whenever we faced any difficult problem is resolved by the time the faculty of the college Faculties are very qualified (postgraduate and pH dians) There are semester exams and they are quite easy to pass.

College campus is full of greenary and fully wifi enabled.

College campus is not so big and the drinking water facility is bad.

I get my course by default due to the preference system of Delhi University. The faculty is greatly qualified and all the teachers are PhD holders. And the exam is based on the semester exam which is not so tough.

ZHDC for a good future

I personally like the library of this college because the library of this college is one of the best library of Delhi University and here we get the chance to study and read as many book as we want by issuing them on free for 15 days.
The campus of the college is very good and the canteen is also present there where we can eat the food of which we like and we can spend time with our friends there and the hospitality is very good of the canteen service,
Tha nature of all faculty and the method of their for teaching us very good and impressive. They all are very supportive and allowed us to contact them whenever we want to ask our doubt we can directly contact them and solve our queries with in minut

Dislikes

The things which i dislike is like there are so much plants and trees in our college but their maintenance is not that much good so this thing should be improved.
The infrastructure of class and the quality of bench is also not up to the mark as the reputation of college is very high but the quality and the quality of classes and bench is not up to the mark
The one more thing which I don't like personally is the administration office is not that much supportive to students because we have to stand in a very long queue for our work and sometimes we don't get us working in time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the history course because I like to study history and I always have had some interest in it that's why I am studying history at Zakir Hussain Delhi college. The faculty of this college is quite good and supportive they teach us very properly and the student ratio is about 25 to 30 students in a class. All the teachers are highly qualified and some of them had done Ph.D. in their respective subjects and their method of teaching is quite good and satisfactory. Term exams happen in every 6 months and the difficulty level is quite good but we can pass them by studying properly with good strategy.

I m at Zakir Husain delhi college so the faculty is really good. I chose philosophy hons because I wanted to know the reason for existence. The teaching method is really good. It's not that difficult for the students who study throughout the year.

It is well known institution with a global prestige and being part of this heritage is a thing of proud
My college Zakir Hussain Delhi College have a vibrant history of around 350 years and I'm now part of that
Faculty at DU is so well trained and they are so much student friendly

Dislikes

Placement is a big issue at Delhi University colleges
We are lacking various infrastructure and aminities related issues
Many of the colleges don't have hostel facilities and it's not easy to commute through Delhi's traffic

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am a plant enthusiast I've opted for this program where we can learn more deep about them. In our college faculty to students, the ratio is good we're 26 students and the faculty is of almost 12 permanent teachers and a few guest faculty also. In Zakir Hussain, we have the best faculty of DU college we have bot experienced and new minds in the faculty. The term exams are often in 5 to 6 months to cover the syllabus lag due to COVID the semester is shortened the exams are not much difficult if one sits in class in a present state of mind.

A brief description about my college life in Delhi University

Likes

I like the environment of DU, the social and academical.
The college societies are also very beneficial.
Syllabus for the courses are also very Good.

Dislikes

But the attendance system , the immature crowd.
In some colleges the infrastructure is not good
Most of the colleges do not give much importance to the physical activity

Basically, I love basic science. So I chose bsc. There are more than 12 faculty members in our department. Most of the faculty are Ph.D. In a full course, there are 6 semesters and both theory and practical exams are held. The difficulty of the exams is intermediate.

I like our campus located in new delhi so all tourism places is near to my college
In my college we specially focus on college greenary
Our society is very famous we celebrate our fest too much

Our new college building is not open since many year
Our canteen is not giving so much variety
Some teachers are very bad in teaching and they does not focus on student

I choose this as I am love chemistry since 12th class because my chemistry 12th class teacher is very good at Chemistry, and I like the practical work too much. In my college chemistry faculty member is very good they teach very well and in practice, they are too good in my college mostly and have Ph.D. qualifications. If you think to pass at the college level, is very easy and 5 months semester exam come.

I applied for a BSc course because I wanted to master it. It's a DU college. DU means good crowd because du is famous and has a good reputation among the universities. All the faculties are well experienced and supportive. They believe in practical knowledge than theories. If you are an average student you easily pass the exam with just a week of study.

As much as I could gather information about Zakir Husain Delhi College DU from some of my friends, everyone gives almost similar responses and reviews about the college.

In terms of infrastructure, the college has a chance to compete with the prestigious and leading colleges out there. The campus includes Wi-Fi, a magnificent green space, inspiring classrooms, elevators for those with disabilities, a canteen with an affordable menu, a mother dairy, and practice-friendly labs.

The professors are incredibly helpful for both personal and professional matters.
