The fees structure of delhi university is very simple we have to pay fees semester wise and delhi university fees is also very low .so that's the part i really liked about delhi university .yes delhi university provides scholarship also.
They are very well experienced and most are phd holders, even the guest lecturers are so talented and inspiring and have a way to handle the students.
Last but not the least i liked the infrastructure too..the new building is just awesome. it is the best building among all the colleges.

Dislikes

The benches in the classroom is bad. the white board is also not good
The entrance exam was good but the normalisation process was very disappointed which was for no reason and the biggest game player was obviously the reservation quota(sc/st/obc).
Some teachers are very bad in teaching and they does not focus on student

It's greenery is like awesome ..as it makes our day and melts my heart as well.
Library is very good as it has much good space .
The auditorium is very cool ...I really love sitting there.

Dislikes

Old building condition is very poor ..it's washrooms, classrooms , labs are not well maintained.
We don't get a holiday on Saturday ..that makes us so tired making up n down everyday .
New building is yet to open but no idea when it will open

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose botany hons as I like this subject as well as I feel it has good scope in future in teaching. Faculty members are almost good . In my class there are 40 students . Though I don't know the qualification of all faculty members but most of them I know have complete their PHD , their teaching method is pretty nice. It took a whole month for exams..and i must say it's not that easy to pass .

Things you need to know before enrolling into ZHDC

Likes

Societies played a major role in learning and exploring
Fhe faculty is great and supportive that it will always help you even after passing out
The education are marvelous the lectures are also conducted by lectures of different colleges or by the high scholars

Dislikes

The campus is very small even though it has 11 storey building but its useless
Library has less number of books and the administration is not that great.
The hygiene isnt really maintained in the college canteens should be cleaned and more hygienic food should be provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in zoology and botany butni couldnt choose between it. Life science is a perfect combination of all the science subjects including theory and practical knowledge. In this course i get to learn about quantum chemistry, biotechnology ,cell molecular ,biochemical and many more. The total number of students in my classes are 80 and has a perfect ratio of male and female. For the lab classes we're divided in 3 batches. All the faculty members are are very supportive and had great knowledge in their respective subjects. They hold ph.d degrees. The exams are taken timely in different methods presentation and practical exams are also being conducted. The exams are always based on what we are taught in class and the study material provided by the teachers

Placement Experience:

From 4 semester students are eligible for college placements as interns and sometimes the companies have their own eligibility criteria The students getting placed around is 20 percentage I have plans to do masters

I choose this course because I like science a lot. I want to learn it thoroughly.Also I want to attept IIT exam so persuing this course will help me in this exam. Faculty student ratio is about 1:15 The facilities are all master in degree They conduct term exams regularly and it is moderate

No there is nothing which I don't like about my college all the things are best of my college

Nice I got admission from cuet ug website and I got applied in Delhi University . My college is zakir Hussain. And my score is 650+ . I choose this subject because I liked to study and I want to crack upsc.

Not Bad.

Likes

I like the location of the college which is at Central Delhi, near New Delhi Metro Station.
I also like the way i spend with my new friends and college faculties at my college.
Last thing i love about my college is the fair and nice behaves of my teachers

Dislikes

I feel little weird when i discovered the administration system.
I hate the people of my college who always try to protest and make a community riot.
I hate the system students adopt at the time of students union election.

Course curriculum is slightly different with that of secondary education . In case of faculty members, i would say that they are friendly and good to behave good. If we talk about the system of administration of the college, its very less than what i expected earlier. It needs to be improved.

I liked the people in my college, some subject teachers of mine they’re really fun to be around even the lab staff, spending time at canteen or the ground there’s a girls common room in this college which is not in most of the colleges

Dislikes

the infrastructure of this college and they’re are not alot of fests happening in the college, canteen food is not that great

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is average you can't expect to get placed at the campus so your focus should be always to get jobs outside from the campus no such big companies come to visit and offer jobs, my plan after getting degree is doing phd you cab think what you have to do as per your interests

Students from all corners of India .teachers are very humble and supportive

About the washroom and sanitation gaurds are very rude

After the third year students become eligible for college placements. there are many companies like byjus.company placement varies the range of 70 to 80 percent 50 to 60 percent placement got by the students.i would like to prepare for civil services

It's one of the old college so it was beautiful
There were many flowers and nice auditorium

Dislikes

The campus is compact, and unfortunately, we lacked the opportunity to use the new building. Additionally, there was no garden space available for sitting.

Overall, it was a positive experience. I opted for this course due to a genuine interest in the subject, pursuing a BA to deepen my understanding. The faculty, while varying in quality, included both qualified and PhD-holding teachers. The end-term exams were manageable, especially with preparation using previous year's questions, ensuring a passable outcome.

Rock garden is best in the college it should be seen
Ground is beautiful filled with greenery
New building it's with various faciltities have been made

College timing is late and it is difficult for people living long distance
Washroom are not cleaned too much and infrastructure is not too good

As much as I could gather information about Zakir Husain Delhi College DU from some of my friends, everyone gives almost similar responses and reviews about the college.

In terms of infrastructure, the college has a chance to compete with the prestigious and leading colleges out there. The campus includes Wi-Fi, a magnificent green space, inspiring classrooms, elevators for those with disabilities, a canteen with an affordable menu, a mother dairy, and practice-friendly labs.

The professors are incredibly helpful for both personal and professional matters.

In today’s world, online education may be difficult, but they have adapted successfully. They are also excellent with offline material.
