The fees structure of delhi university is very simple we have to pay fees semester wise and delhi university fees is also very low .so that's the part i really liked about delhi university .yes delhi university provides scholarship also.
They are very well experienced and most are phd holders, even the guest lecturers are so talented and inspiring and have a way to handle the students.
Last but not the least i liked the infrastructure too..the new building is just awesome. it is the best building among all the colleges.

Dislikes

The benches in the classroom is bad. the white board is also not good
The entrance exam was good but the normalisation process was very disappointed which was for no reason and the biggest game player was obviously the reservation quota(sc/st/obc).
Some teachers are very bad in teaching and they does not focus on student

My great memories in ZHC

My totall experience was great as i learnt alot and enjoyed my college life. Faculty was awesome and supportive and placement percentage is also good.
There were many sports events held and i did enjoyed.
The annual fest happens at my time was awesome and i and my friends did participated in the fest and act a show on environment.

Dislikes

I would like to advice that college should add some skill faculty which we can use practically in our life.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements at the end of the 5th semester. The companies visited and offered placement are Genpect, Barclays, icici, and Wipro, etc. The highest package that the company offers to students is a maximum of 5 Lpa and a minimum of 2 Lpa. According to my knowledge around 30 to 38% got the opportunity to get the job on their hand. My plan is to do a Ph.D. and want to be a professor.

My experience with Zakir Husain Delhi college

Likes

Campus - the campus is not so big but it's cute and comfy with lots of greenery.
Staff - the teaching staff is very supportive towards students and the non teaching staff is very humble and caring.
The GCR - I like the Girls common room facility the most as it makes you feel like home.

Dislikes

Teaching method - I don't like their teaching method as the teachers are very careless towards classes
Student politics - it's harming the atmosphere of the college so I personally don't like the student's politics
Rage between religion - religious rages are common nowadays and can be seen in the campus. Hating on the basis of religion

* i chose this course because I'm keen in learning more about economics on higher level. * Faculty: student ratio is quite ok but every professor's way of teaching is different, some are very strict regarding studies which is a good thing and some are very casual so it makes a difference between the two sections of economics which is a serious concern. * There was no proper 6 month semester. And passing the exams are quite difficult because in theory papers it's quite tough to grab marks.

I liked about the college was the campus and canteen.
I liked about faculty and training. They were at top notch.
I liked about practical labs. Every instruments were there.

Dislikes

The most thin i disliked was garbage because there were some places in the college where always garbage were dumped.
Secondly some students were not good at my time, they were doing ragging with juniors and no one were talking about this.
The last thing i didn't liked about is mineral water. The water cooler was very dusty and old.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosen this course because I am super interested in zoology and biology. I like to read more about biology and human sciences. Faculty was quite good and there was one faculty for every subject. Qualification of the faculty was PHD. All the faculties were professors. Their way of teaching was extremely good. Term exams were held around every 2.5 to 3 months and it's quite moderate, not easy not very tough.

Likes

Stationery in our college and readily available to get photocopies and other stationary.
Mother dairy stall to get fresh dairy products
Auditorium is spacious and comfortable seats.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is little old and new building is not opening
No cleanliness in the canteen and dirty seats there
Should increase seating capacity in Library

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mine was Zakir Hussain Delhi College (Day) . In physical science with chemistry. The teachers are cooperative and can help you through the problems. The maths faculty is a little bit unbalanced for the bsc programme.

Placement scenario is not so great , in most of the du colleges except some top colleges like srcc ,lsr, stephan's , gargi etc. Most of the companies visit these colleges and placements are mostly use of commerce background students

Likes

Educated environment around the campus area
Competitive spirit in the students is seen
Good professors and their ideological thinking

Dislikes

Not that much compatible as compared to the other institutions
The administration staff is quite lazy and doesn't work efficiently
Professors sometimes doesn't take classes

I liked political science, but the ratio is quite bad as there are around 90 students in my course, but the professors are well qualified since most of them are from JNU, in DU we have a semester system therefore in a year there are 2 semesters.

College Experience at Delhi University

Likes

Campus society are great with seniors helping other students with new interest such as debate and MUN experience
Faculty are friendly and always available for help and you can reach to them at any moment in the staff room.
Infrastructure of the Psychology lab is great compared to rest of the college which provides us with better opportunities

Dislikes

The infrastructure sucks with the 11 floor building yet to be opened for students
Placement cell of the college is below average with no works
No annual fest or any social events which are really not great

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to study Psychology so I put this course high in priority list . Only two college provide psychology course for boys in du and I got in one . Faculty is great the ratio is 1:40 and most faculty are PhD and professor. There are guest professor too which also teach friendly . Term exam was every 3 months one semester and if you have attended the lecture you will get good marks easily

The teaching style of their teachers. And the not differentiate between students.
The pankhudi fest is very very superb in the zakir hussain college
Our department of botany is very brilliant at zhdc.and i love many plantation in the zhdc.

Dislikes

They situated at off campous is very dislike for me.
The fight about the religion and the student beat the principle.
The annual fest is not organized at zhdc is very disappointed for me

I choose this course because I love plants and flower and I little bit interesting in the study of plant(botany). Ratio - 2:5 The qualification of faculty is phd complete and so on.and the teaching style is very very good. Every 6 months exam will be taken by du and the exam level is very easy for those student who student the concept of main topics.

Faculty members are very good and have decent behaviour
The boys : girls ratio is also very good and fair
The canteen food is affordable and delicious

Dislikes

The campus is not so good and big but it is under development
In some places you can find tin roof tops
The neighborhood is not so good and clean

End semester studens are eligible for placements Companies like WIPRO, Panasonic, Sony visit the campus Highest package offered is around Rs 500000 and average is about 2.5 lakh About 50% about the students gets placed My plans after graduation are cracking UPSC CSE and become an honest IAS officer

Likes

I like the street foods in Delhi, public transport in Delhi for students and women is very reliable
Delhi is the centre part of North and access to all other states is very easy.
Delhi University got one of the finest faculties in India

Dislikes

Delhi University has a bad infrastructure
The wheather in Delhi is very bad that it could be hazardous to our life
Delhi University has the poorest facilities for health

The BA Arabic honours is a 4 year programme offered by Delhi University They got one of the finest faculty in India All are PHD professor from a reputed institution The teaching methods are quite easy to understand and easily catchable

As much as I could gather information about Zakir Husain Delhi College DU from some of my friends, everyone gives almost similar responses and reviews about the college.

In terms of infrastructure, the college has a chance to compete with the prestigious and leading colleges out there. The campus includes Wi-Fi, a magnificent green space, inspiring classrooms, elevators for those with disabilities, a canteen with an affordable menu, a mother dairy, and practice-friendly labs.

The professors are incredibly helpful for both personal and professional matters.

In today’s world, online education may be difficult, but they have adapted successfully. They are also excellent with offline material. The courses cover everything in detail and prepare students to take on real-world issues in the workplace. Exams during the semester are neither very difficult nor difficult.
