Student Snaps:

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is quite low in my college as it is off-campus. Students are eligible after the 4th semester for campus placements. Companies like Chegg India invites maximum no. Of students per year for placements. Package may be of 6 or 7 LPA My plans after the degree are straight. Preparing for the competitive exam (SSC) and side by side MSc in any course through nonregular campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose microbiology as my major because of my desire to be a lifelong learner. Bacterial species and microbes are everywhere in the environment and are thriving in their environment. Due to their plentiful conditions, they will continuously modify their genes and therefore become resistant to vaccines and attack the host immune system. This ultimately sparked my interest in microbiology early in my academic career. The faculty and staff in the microbiological department are exceptional and are great teachers. They are excellent resources for students who are interested in partaking in research while here at shaheed rajguru college there are endless possibilities with a degree in microbiology and that is what I love the most. It can be a great starting point in a career in medicine or any other graduate program that one Hope's to attend. You'll have to complete your master's degree as it is the minimum eligibility criteria to become a lecturer in India. Then you will be eligible for teaching

Usually, final-year students are eligible for campus interviews. The placement isn't that good. Although some companies do visit the campus. The avg package offered by the companies varies between 2.5 - 5.5 CTC.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students became eligible for placements. Companies like Wipro, Wise Finserv, and Phronesis visited. Wipro offered 18 students while all others offered very few students. The highest was 4.6 LPA but the average was 2.5 lpa. Only 2-3% of students were placed. I want to pursue MCA further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I love physics and our physics lab is one of the biggest labs in the university and the teachers are very nice here. The faculty is very well qualified as almost every teacher has a Ph.D. degree. Their teaching skill is very well as they love to evaluate and explore things with students. Teachers take exams after completing the unit or after completing half the unit approximately You have to have to give a maximum of 2 tests in a month for each subject. Coming on difficulty level, teachers always choose a level between medium to high

After the 5th semester, you can apply for placement through a placement cell. I didn't know about the companies and offers as I didn't appear in placements. Whosoever is interested in a job gets the job. I opted out for MSC after the degree was completed. And can also apply for govt jobs in food corporation of India or fssai

Placement Experience:

The college has an active placement cell, a number of the company visited every year. The college has a good placement record since it has a direct link-up with industries and has a strong alumni network. The minimum package offered is 1.80 lakh to a maximum of 3 lakh per annum. But most of the students don't opt for placement and choose to go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't have a psychology background at the secondary level but a keen interest in mental health do lead me towards psychology efficiently. Apart from the curriculum when I started studying psychology's different spectrum, I could see myself as a more progressive and empathetic individual. And about the faculty, teachers are fine yet seem to be having a targeted approach towards students. The teaching method is quite revolved around the analysis and is more interactive. About exams, which are held twice a year according to the schedule released by Delhi University. Exams aren't that difficult to pass if paid prominent amount of attention to the class.
