The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

College life

Likes

The faculty members are friendly in nature.
The college is well disciplined,administered abiding by the rules.
There are various clubs in the college including drama club, codingclub....and many more

Dislikes

The compass is not very large,limited space is there.
Not every computer in the labratories properly worked.
we daily have to attend the college which is not good as we have to do alots of assignment ,project and then midterms.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester student become eligible for campus placements. There are more than 40+ companies including mncs and startup companies visited like TCS, INFOCYS,CAPEGEMINI,WIPRO...etc The highest company package is 72 LPA and average packages as per company is 4.5 lpa. 80-90% percentages of student getting placemnets. To gain experience in the workfield and then for higher studies if needed.

My college is among the topmost engineering colleges in the city according to the data till date this year, as it has already provided excellent job placements in the information and technology sectors.
After our even sem exams, our college arranges a Maker Fair Festival every year. During this festival, we have to prepare a project, and the faculty members select the best one. It is a great fair for engineering students.
I have chosen this college because I heard that it is one of the best colleges in Kolkata.

Dislikes

I dont think any loan facility is being given, as far as my knowledge goes it has not been started. But I think it will start in the future and it will help students then. Scholarships will also start in the future as they are not available now.
Also, the freshers party was such a terrible thing; there was nothing resembling a party over there.
Positive: Once you enroll in this college, you begin the process of getting placed from the very first day. Faculties work really hard.

Placement Experience:

University of engineering or UEM have achieved 100 percentage in incampus placements and with the proper salary package of starting package of rupees 30 thousand in starting.. I want to get a job in the corporate companies like tcs , accenture, capgemini

Accessible Library and Their books and others.
Pre placement classes are taken for placement
Teachers are very good. The quality of education is given.

Dislikes

Semester time is too short. Hardly we have 3 month to get ready
The campus area is too short for a ground.
Limited amount of holidays, limited amount of equipments

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students can sit for the internship and from the final year I mean after 6th semester a student can start applying for placements. Many companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro comes. I have plan for higher studies after having mu Btech digree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from semester 5. Many good companies like Wipro has given placements to UEMK students in past. Very few students get placements here and most students apply for placements off campus.

Faculties here are very good and helpful
Facilities are available to us to do further research for our projects.
Subjects taught are interesting and up to dated to enlighten us about current scenarios

Placement Experience:

From the 7th Semester the student is eligible to take part in campus placements. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and many other companies visit the campus for recruitment procedure. Product based companies, startups as well visit the campus. Startups also recruit but are very less in number. Preparation is also done so that students can pursue higher studies.

There's a lot to like the seniors.. Some faculty members.. Fests and nothing...

Dislikes

Sports are played by at basement... No ground at all.. Lots of exams.. Etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members are mixed Some are goods some are boring also not good... You will get the course according to your rank.. There will be no choosing.. Faculty qualifications are goods.. But in teaching qualifications doesn't matter... It matters how they know about teaching... Exams are time to time.. There's will be a lot of exams in very short of time.. They are quite difficult to pass but easy...

My College

Likes

I like the college, the vibe in this area.
The placement authority is very help full.
The course they provide at this prize range is awesome.

Dislikes

The playground must be big then the recent one.
The auditorium must be bigger then the recent one.
The classrooms must be air conditioned, as they are very hot at summer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of my passion towards computer. In west bengal there is no such college who can provide this kind of good education, for that reason I choose this college. Faculty and student ratio is very good. There is no as such problem in this. They all are passed from renowed institutions all over the country and they provide us very good education. term exams are held once in two months, and the exams are really hard to get pass marks.

Different activities and competition and regularity

Dislikes

Campus area is tooo small, it isn't like other college.
Holiday list is too short, we can't go home in every holidays
Quality of College bag provided by college is very bad

I had an interest in this course from beginning. I am interesting about computer and software. So I get into it. Faculty memebers are so good and so helpful. They teaches very well. Teaching method is student friendly. The term exams held in time and difficulty level of that question is medium.

UEMK??

Likes

No ragging in campus, plus the behaviour of the seniors and faculty members.
To be honest our campus is not that big . We have busket ball court.
Placement rates are good , most of our students get placed.

Dislikes

There's nothing I disliked to be honest about our college.

Placement Experience:

From 5th-6th sem ( maybe ) students are eligible for placements. I don't know anything about this thing . Highest package is 74LPA as I know , it was offered to 6 students. 90% students get their placements. I will look for jobs.

The Glimpse to UEM

Likes

The faculties are very good, cooperative and friendly.
The campus is very nice with all the necessary things.
The opportunities offered here are very good.

Dislikes

It has proper uniform like school each day.
The rules are very much strict compared to other colleges.
It does not have a large playing area in campus.

Placement Experience:

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
