The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

An ok college for an ok price. Definitely doesn't compare with govt. colleges

Likes

The wide variety of clubs in the college
The library is very good with a decent selection of books and computers
The helpful faculties of the college who are ready to help at a moments notice

Dislikes

The very strict and high attendance policy (>75%]
The restrictive atmosphere in the campus with strict no roaming rules

B.Tech is all the craze for science students, so I took this course. Faculty to student ratio is more than 1:50. Some of the faculties are great but some were not so great. There are 3 exams per semester which are fairly difficult to pass

HARDWORK WILL DEFINITELY SEEK SUCCESS.

Likes

Sincere, hardworking and supportive faculties.
Funding are provided for project work if idea is unique and have potential to make in URECKON.

Dislikes

Very less number of holidays around 10 to 20 days in year
Long college hours that is from 9:30am till 4:15pm . And someday after college lectures and guidance.
Compulsory two patent and two personal project and have to complete two internship before 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is better then other private college according to me. Since the faculty member follow and complete it very seriously and make us do our best. Almost all faculty have done PHD In about interval of 1month 25 days two term exam are conducted of 30 marks in eack subject with internal viva, practicals and in end sem 100 marks paper.

Pros and cons of a college

Likes

I liked many things there infrastructure
I liked their alumini networks and job offers they provide
I liked many things their discipline and way of teaching

Dislikes

I disliked the level or amount of fees they take
I dislike the toughness they give during exams
I dislike their dress code whic they give us to wear in college

I choose this course because I have a strong interest in the field of Ai and In order to master thaat i joined this course In my college the faculty to student ratio is quite good like for every class a specific class teacher is allotted for each subject 5 teachers are allotted All the teachers are highly qualified and there teaching methods are exceptional and there is no doubt and they make concepts easy like water Term exams happen within gaps of there months and are quite toughu to pass and If there is not proper grip over the concept then there is chance of failing in the exam

Engineering Collage Dunia

Likes

I liked to big campus .But the campus is very small of this collage
this collage sound system is very nice. branded speaker.
but the all faculty member is highly educated

Dislikes

This collage has no campus .I like big campus.
The get is locked after 9:30 .I cannot like this system.
AC service is not available in the classroom in this collage.

Placement Experience:

Third year students and the fourth years students are eligible for campus placement.The cognigent, wipro, TCS, Infosis companies are visited.The highest package of this collage is 72 lakh.the placement is very nice of the collage

The placement of uem Kolkata is very good.
Uem Kolkata preparing there students for gate exam.
Uem Kolkata is very strict about their rules and no ragging.

You won't enjoy your college life in uem Kolkata.

discipline is the main thing there and they are very strict about it .
helps us to prepare for the govt exam and the others exam .
the faculty members are very friendly and they tech us very sharply .

as it is under a gp named iem-uem so sometimes teacher cann't finish the syllabus.
very limited time for prepare for the semester
the price of course is very expensive so every one cannot effort

The education system of this college is very good
The college is also very disciplined, they are very punctual and the system is very strict
Lab facility also very good there are many computers, and lab instruments.

Dislikes

There is some of faculties , their teaching is not so good.
Some faculties are very rude. And also they did not take care properly
There are some instrument that are not working, so in the some time we face problem

I have a dream to do b tech in cse. And by the grace of God, I got eligible marks in hs. So I take admission in this college. There are many faculties in our college for cse. I cannot sure about the student faculty ratio but very few faculty we know because we are freshers. But the qualification of the teachers very good. There are some of iitian. Some teachers had done their PhD in regarding course. The mid term exams also difficult. But we give our best to pass all exams. The question pattern are modern types.

HONEST TALK (UEM , KOLKATA)

the discipline is the final word in this collage,
no ragging, seniors are very very friendly and co operative
hygenic bathrooms are there, very nneat and clean bathroom and classrooms are airy,

Dislikes

as it is connected with iem, sometimes the syllabus is incomplete.
very little time to prepare for the semester
playground is the only thing which is very small here, and all the foods are very costly lower middle class students like me can not afford it daily

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
