The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

UEM Kolkata pros and cons

I liked the faculty members who clears all the concept..

Dislikes

College uniform and COMPULSORY attendance I disliked the most

Faculty is good and helpful in this college they clear the concept and gives personal attention to a student student can go after 4:30 toh understand the concept which he had not understood in the class .. although some teachers are too strict..which gives vibe of a school..

My College experience

Likes

The college is very strict in punctuation.
The college maintains a very well academic ambience.
Professors are very cooperative on the other hand.

Dislikes

The college doesn't offer you a social life.
In my opinion the fees is quite high and it gets increasing with time.
The University campus is not satisfactory, the campus is very small.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Throughout my childhood, I wanted to pursue engineering in computer science. So, here I am. The University is having their staffs each one of them highly qualified from the renowned IITs across the globe, very well disciplined.

Hey this is my college

Likes

College campus and faculty members are very good
Infrastructure is very good there r total three buildings
Professors are very good and qualified they are very cooperative

Dislikes

The college is very far from my home. I wish there was metro station
The college playground is very small I cannot play
The college elevator is not very functional

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for placement companies start coming. They take test . Majority of the students get placed . Professors are very help college provide a training for placement.

Real and Honest

Likes

There is less distraction for students as the campus is very small
The teachers are good enough for make the proper standing
The staff members are good to help if needed

Dislikes

The classes are in very poor state there is no proper paint and overall .
The food is to spicy for the veg people have to search where we can eat
There is much academic pressure for the students

Because I like the ed teach world growing and be a part of it. A faculty is just to say 1 faculty for 100 students . Qualifications of teacher are pretty impressive all of them are doctor in their respective fields. They conduct two mid sem after a month and final exam for a whole semester at last

Likes

The faculty members are so friendly and polite.
HOD is so cool and helps us many times .
There are a sports class in one week. College is very neer to bus stop.

Dislikes

Campus is too short and there is not a play ground in clg campus
Every class time is too long . Every class take one hour
We need more than one games class 🙂. So where we can enjoy our clg time

Faculty members are so good and so polite. Most of faculty members are passed out from IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay. So the faculty members are High qualified . They teaches us like a friend and they repeat it again and again

UEMK - FROM MY VIEW

Liked the behaviour of some faculty members and the campus
Cleanliness of campus and the aminities in classroom
Lab support and library support is given which helps us

Dislikes

The techniques faculties used to teach us
The placement issue of current batch really gives stress
The question papers of exam, they are too difficult

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The companies like TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, WIPRO etc visited and more than 200 offers made. The highest package is 72LPA The average package is 4LPA 90% of students get placement I want to become an software Engineer

How UEM became my second home.

Likes

Faculty member's behavior is worth mentioning.
The classroom amenities are very helpful.
The classrooms are very airy and the benches are very comfortable.

Dislikes

The college should make their washrooms little better.
There is no Air Conditioner in the classroom.
There should be more than 2 cafeteria in the campus.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the students are eligible for placements and internships. Different MNC visit our campus for recruitment and internship opportunities. This time Infosys visited the campus for recruitment. The interview was very hard and only few were selected. But the university offers more opportunities in these four years. Nearly our college is having a success rate in terms of placement as 85%.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
