The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

Proper college review.

Likes

Study system of our college is very very impressive.
College faculty members are helps always for better understanding.
College rules is very strict and that will help us in corporate life.

Dislikes

College campus is too much short and not have any play ground.
College are very strict about our uniform and many time this will become many problems.
In side the college no play ground exist so can't play anything in the college ground

Placement Experience:

If I talk about our college placement then I would like to say that many popular companies come in our college. Like TCS ,Wipro, Infosys, capjemini, Flipkart. Our college give avarage placement 4 lacs per annum and the highest package of our college is 72 lucs.

Tales of UEM

Likes

I like the faculties the most. They are very friendly.
The overall atmosphere is very well of campus.

Dislikes

Sometimes it seems like we are in a cage .
Make Attendance a huge issue is a drag at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was highly willing to learn about computer languages and much about coding that's why I have choosen this course. Faculty student ratio is like 1:10. Faculties all are doctorate level. Term exams are held after every 1.5 months and to pass the exam following class notes are highly recommend.

A brief review on UEM

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I really liked working with computer and programming things. The faculty is very good, they guided us immensely in the first few months to get accustomed the college life. The term exam were comparatively easy and could easily be done if studied properly.

UEM KOLKATA

Likes

Campus is huge .have a lot of classrooms
There are 6 floors with enough classrooms to study in
Faculties are very Frank and help in every questions

Dislikes

Strictness is lot as a college student for dresses
We have to wear a tidy uniform which is really a hectic part in college
There aren't any air conditioning the the classes which makes a trouble in summer season

The course curriculum is quite amazing and the faculty is outstanding .. they help a lot with our questions and answer the solutions whenever its possible .. we have a strict routine everyday in college that we follow to upgrade our educational qualification with a great approach !

Private colleges nowadays

Likes

Number of faculty members are enough to manage all the students.
Having a great atmosphere for study in break time in the library.
Campus placements are quite impressive and I like to participate in all the debate competition and fests occurs in the college

Dislikes

Fees structure is been a big problem for me.
Practical classes are not so much encouraging.
Taking leaves for personal problems are very much difficult to acquire.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Infosys,TCs,HCL, Cognizant, Wipro,Turbo, Tech Mahindra and many more are there. Highest package from this college is 25 lacs per annum and average package is 5 lacs per annum from each of the companies that I have mentioned. 80-90% students get placement each year. I want to pursue for higher studies like M.Tech or preparation for civil services.

My experience at my college.

Likes

Regular exams and education related programs and contests were held regularly
Teaching methods are good enough and college foods are affordable.
The college program are good enough to let you free from stage fright

Dislikes

Few faculties are not upto the mark............
No stress on cultural fest...................

Placement Experience:

This year the placements were not upto the mark due to the current war senerio. But before this year the placements were very very good. Also previous year the students were less than the present few years so placements were easy.

Faculties of the college and discipline.
It promote innovation of students and also help them to construct or make them work.
Many new innovative subjects are there in the college.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is very bad as the senior told me. No companies visit the campus for internship. Mnay student opt for outside placement as the college placement is pretty low. You work on yourself without depending on the clg for job opportunity.

Professor are so good, they never say no to our queries even in their break time also . Coding Culture is good and best is placement.
Placement is so good and I liked the most is that 95% students get placed.
Campus Life is good and the infrastructure is also good.

Dislikes

Small campus size and a bit strictness that I disliked but it is also for our development only so it is good for us only.

Placement Experience:

Placement record of this college is nice, as compared to other colleges in the city . This college provides best placement over the year. And it is increasing day by day. Many companies visit this college like, Infosys,TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and many more new startups etc. Nearly 95% students get placed. Average job offer is 2-3 per person. Highest Package offered Is 72 LPA and Average package is 5.5 LPA.

UEM Kolkata in my view

Likes

There are strict discipline in my University. All faculties are helpful.
Campus is clean. Toilet is also fresh. I like it.

Dislikes

There is no big playground. We cannot play as our wish.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students become eligible for campusing and placements. Some of the companies which visits our college every year are TCS,TATA, Wipro, Capgemini etc. I heard that most of them offers more than 100 placements. Highest package is 20LPA and avg is 4LPA. Percentage of students getting placements is approx 70%. My plan is to do a job or business after getting the degree.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
