The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

The Review of the UEM KOLKATA

Likes

Methods of teaching and helping seniors.
The environment of this college for studies.
The classes with proper time management.

Dislikes

The examination pattern is too hard for avarage students.
The playground of the college is not present at the campus.
The restriction is like same as like school.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement. TCS, CTS, CAPGEMINI, L&T, INFOSYS, DELOITTE, and many more companies came with various offers to the students. The highest package is almost 12 lakh per annum and the average package is 4.8 lakh per annum. Almost 95 percent students get placed with one offer and among them, some students get 2-3 offers. I want to do higher studies after getting this degree.

MY UEM -IEM NEW TOWN

Likes

faculties are good here and well educated with good teaching skill.
placement is good here as avg package is 6 lacs and highest is 71 lakhs.
studies is taken seriously here and teacher focus more and more in studies.

Dislikes

infrastructure is too small here as it is in new town which is the main town to kolkata
it is not a college , it is a school as it has too strict rules and discipline.
campus life is boring here as it doesnot have any good entertainment programs.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placement here There are many companies visiting here like TCS,WIPRO,CONGINANT,MICROSOFT.etc and they offer in good no The highest package is 71 lakhs and the is 6 lakhs Almost 90% of students get placed here through the campus selection. my plan is to go for mtech course.

Good placement compare other colleges in West Bengal
Extra classes for aptitude and other competitive exams.
Ragging free campus and disciplined environment.

Dislikes

Very small campus so no playground is there in the campus.
Fees are very high compared to other college.
Too much restrictions and 75% attendance is mandatory .

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester students are eligible for placement. In previous year more than 150 companies like Mind Tree ,TCS, WIPRO, COGNZANT, CAPGEMINI etc have visited for campus recruitment and more than 1200+ job offers are given. The highest on campus package was 12 LPA, and average package as per the previous year was 5 LPA. Around 85% student have placed. Overall placement records are good.

Dream Big with UEM

Likes

The discipline of the college and the system of unique dress code
The cultural fest that I love very much also the extra curricular activities held in college
The facilities, their behaviour, teaching skills, they are the helping hands

Dislikes

May the college campuse will a little bit bigger than present one
The pressure is much that sometimes can not be handle
The number of assignments really I don't like it's more than required

Placement Experience:

From the last of 6th semester, every student got a placement Many companies like tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, ibm, Adobe etc are coming for campusing every year 100% of students get placement. After getting my degree I would go into a big company and want to do my MBA also

All you need to know about University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata.

Likes

Library contained almost all the books you need.
Computer Labs are Well Equipped and well Informative.
Faculties are very helpful and supportive.

Dislikes

Nothing as such to be precise. Everything was for our benefit directly or indirectly.

Faculties of the college is highly qualified so thier teaching methods are good
Students and senior of this college are very friendly
Education system and security of this college are very good

Dislikes

Teachers are very strict so you have to attend college everyday

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like wipro, TCS, Capgemini Adobe offers package, the highest package is 52lpa and the average is 10lpa 80 percent of these students get placement

The first thing I like is friendly behaviour of the college
Second thing is the discipline of the college.
Third is you must wear uniform to enter into the college otherwise you have to go to home back

Dislikes

There is no groud for playing any sports
The water filters are not good at all...
The size of cafeteria is small.they should refurbished it.

Placement Experience:

College gives 90 percentage of the overall students. Tcs, Infosys,Wipro, cognizant, capgimini, mindtree and many other mnc are coming to hire .the average package is 4 lakhs per year.the highest package that you can get 10 lakhs per year from on campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very good and covers all aspects of a computer science engineering course. , the practicality of the theoretical topics isn't put much to use. The faculty is superb for the majority of the part, there are some faculty members who aren't up to the task. but most of them were good

I like the various fest conducted by our college
The campus is fairly clean and hygienic
The teachers are very knowledgable and helpfull

Dislikes

The free wifi in the college campus does not work properly
The food served in canteen is not very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because it has very good opportunities in the future or jobs and I am very interested in this course. The ratio between faculty and students is fairly good there plenty of highly qualified teachers. The term exams are conducted two times before every end-semester examination.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
