The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

Review of UEM , Kolkata

Likes

I like the various sports conducted in the college campus.
I like the cultural programs conducted by the college.
I like the study environment it is peaceful and quiet.

Dislikes

I don't like the bathrooms it is very dirty
The size of the campus is very small where is just a small field in the back of the college
The quality of the food is bad they's of food cold

Students can become eligible for campus placement from 3rd-year Companies like Aditya Birla, Dabar, and Pantaloons Pidilite. The average package offered by companies is 5lpa. 100% of students get placements.

Likes

Nice experience,, great place to showcase your talent. Nice and well decorated campus with greenery. Many fests are organised all over the year. Good placement and nice management.
The classrooms can be more nice, smart board in all classes is needed.
Culture is nice and nice place to showcase your talent.

Dislikes

Nothing much, but yes campus should have residential hostel and a big playground.
No big playground to play around for students.
Sick room is not so nice. The doctor is not so nice.

Placement Experience:

In our course, Placement starts in the 3rd semester. Big companies come for placement like Bandhan Bank, Dabur, ABP., EY, etc. The average package is 5LPA every year. Almost 100 percent placement. Working in a corporate is my plan after my degree.

Ragging free campus and cctv all over the place
Highly qualified teachers and good teacher to student ratio
Every type of veg and non veg food is avaiable inside the campus

Dislikes

The size of the campus is very low and there is just a small field beding the college building

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. TCS, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI, MINDTREE, IBM, FLIPKART, WIPRO, and other companies visit here and give good rates of placement. The highest package offered here is 72 LPA and the average package is around 6-7 LPA.

Placement done in our campus are very nice.
Sports like cricket football always occur in our college campus.
Annual fest occurring in our campus are very interesting.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year we are having our college placement. Amazon, Wipro tcs ibm visit our campus. The highest package is 48lpa and the lowest package is 5lpa. 90 percent of students get admission. I have planned to do mtech.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
