Techno Main Salt Lake Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 6th semester, students became eligible for campus placements. Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, PWC, etc. tech companies visited our campus every year. In 2018-22 the highest package is 36lpa which is offered by Amazon and the average package is 5 lakhs. Almost 80-90% got placed from cse and it departments and 60-70% from the core department.

From the end of 3rd-semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Wipro, and similar companies visit here. The highest package was about 32 lakhs per annum and the average is about 5 to 6 lakh. 80 to 90 % of students get placed but 60 to 70 % of them got placed with the amount of average package.

From the 6th semester, we are eligible for internships and from the 7th we are ready for placements. And in food technology there are a lot of companies will come from various fields. And the percentage of students is 80%. And the highest package in food technology last year was 8.5lpa. I am going to take my job.

The placement of this college is quite decent. If you are a good student then a lot of opportunities will be available to you. Packages can go up to 30 lpa. On average offers available are 5-6 lpa. Internships are also provided in the 2nd, the 3rd and 4th years.

The placement is mostly done in the IT sector. As it highly demands st today's time. The placement of computer science, Information Technology, Electronics and communication and electrical branches are pretty good.

Students become eligible by the end of the 6th sem and the start of the 7th sem. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Bluestar, Pinnacle, Wipro, etc. No. of offers are good as almost more than 90% of student gets placed. The highest package ranges up to 9 lacs whereas the average is 4.5 lacs. After getting the degree I want to get placed in an eminent IT company.

I wanted to pursue either ECE or EIE as I have always had an inclination toward Electronics and It is one of the main branches of TMSL. Faculty members are average acc to me, not pretty good. TMSL has a decent Faculty: student ratio. The term exams were pretty much on time and the difficulty level was moderate.

Applied instrumental engineering is a hybrid branch. it's not a core branch. The teaching faculty of this branch is quite good They are well qualified and I am having a great experience in this college

EIE is a semi-industrial branch. After the course, students get chances in industries as well as in IT companies. This attracted me as a student since I saw opportunities lying ahead. We have 60 students in our departments. The faculty is one of the best. Almost all the faculty of the college is of PhD level with good industrial exposure. The faculty teaching methods are a blend of traditional and modern techniques which helps us to understand all the concepts in a simple manner. Continuous Assessment exams are taken every month to check the student's progress and give them scope to figure out their difficulties.
