VIPS Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements of this college are really good and you are eligible for placements in the 3rd or 4th semester. Many big MNC's visited this college like HP, Dell, Microsoft! and also Cisco, and well-known networking company. 40% 50% of students get placed every year!

Coming to the placement and internships provided in VIPS, it offers a various number of opportunities. In 2019, The IT companies such as Wipro , TCS , TechM , Infosys , etc. visited in our college. Almost 60-70% of students got placement in this college. Around 3-4 lacs per annum is given by the company and depends upon the skills and knowledge. Overall placement is good if a student study genuinely. Our college organizes summer and winter internships on a regular basis to enhance the capabilities of the students.

Students become eligible for placement after the 5th semester and there are quite a few companies visiting every year . 60-70% of the students easily get placed depending on their skills and resumes . I am planning to go for higher studies after completion of my course.

1. Placement cell provides opportunities for internships as well as for job placements. 2. Many companies come to conduct interviews and candidates are suggested for off campus interviews also. 3. BBA and Law have a great placement cell.

The Campus Placements are available at the end of the course, that is, during the 10th semester when advocates and firms come to recruit. The placement committee works diligently to ensure that most of the people who apply for placement, get placed. It also provides with Internship opportunities to the younger students. The Placement Cell is very active.

There are placement cell for each department. Different departments have different placement opportunities. The placement in other departments are fair enough and the placement in Economics is less than the other departments and not specifically related to the course however the department does conduct workshops. Few companies are- BYJUs, Oracle, Trueblue, 6Research etc

I have heard from our seniors that placements start from the 2nd-3rd year. I am currently in my 1st year so I don't have much idea about the same. Though the college provides many internships starting from every 1st year, it's up to the students whether to take it or not. they provide stipend-based too and non-stipend-based too. The HIghest package as of me is the value of a student. his/her skills, personality is what that matters. As a student, you must place your focus on developing your skills, your personality.

About 90% of students get campus placements and it ranges to an average of 5 lakhs per anmum for eco hons stream. the mai companies recruiting are oracle,icici , hdfc and many other reputed ones. most students tho further study and do an MBA rather than opting for placements.My plan on after getting the degree is going for an MBA in Finance as it would help me develop my knowledge even more.

Getting placed through the placement options here at VIPS I heard from seniors that they are great and would love to hear from the many big companies that comes to VIPS like google, amazon, flipkart etc

Vips have a specific placement cell for keeping the students updated about job openings and all. last year many media companies visited the college for recruitment procedures like PTI, Zee group, Entrepreneur magazine etc. The average package was 4 LPA which was great
