IISER Mohali Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Its Infrastructure, facilities, faculty and nice location are the dominating factors which force me to choose IISER Mohali to fulfill my dream. Parents and teacher advice and guidance was also there.

IISERs are the only institutes in India which are purely research focused, it doesn't offer any technical course it offers only basic science course and my interest from starting lies in research area that's why I choose IISER Mohali.

There were many factors which played a key role in choosing iiser mohali for my graduation studies some of them are its nice student friendly environment as well as its nice location near the city Chandigarh secondly it is a national importance college and comes under direct central government and at last highly qualified faculties and alumini reach.

IISERs are new institutes whose min target is to focus on basic science and research and the one who likes to become scientist it is the best choice in India and I also want to contribute to scientific community that's why i choose iiser Mohali.

Basically my main target was to get admission in one of the National Importance College and I found IISER one among themselves and due to category I get admission easily in the IISER and choose mohali just because it is near to my place as compared to other iisers.

Its location near to my hometown. Basically according to facilities and quality of education all the 7 iisers are equal as all the iisers come direct under mhrd and all have equal funding but due to early establishment of iiser pune and kolkata they are a little bit ahead.

Mentor, teachers and family guidance. Self interest in basic science and having interst in doing a PhD from foreign and to do that IISER is the best option for doing that and it was the leading factor among all the factors in choosing IISER.

Good infrastructure, nice location, national importance, autonomous, excellent faculty and facilities. These are some of the external factors which decided my decision to took admission in IISER Mohali along with study interest in basic science and a dream to become a scientist is also one of the main reason I'm getting admission here in the IISER Mohali.

Basically I was having choice of doing preparation for any competitive exam after my class 12th or took admission in any local college here to do under graduation and that I didn't want so while surfing google I come across iiser and the mode of admission in it and it is where I decided to take admission in it.

I have chosen this college because this college is one of the best college in the field of basic science and in research are. This college has good alumni rate in foreign universities such as MIT, University of California etc. Its professors also have PhDs and post docs from these universities. IISER Mohali has very good infrastructure.
