Fees and Financial Aid:

In first year I paid approximately 32,000 fee. For second I was charged 29,150, but as ive got scholarship named PMSSS which is Prime Minister sSpecial Scholarship Scheme wich runs under NSP my college fee gest paid from there, and I also get an allowance of 50,000 per semester for rent and living. the fee for all my classmates are same as me. There are many other scholarships whivh run under NSP for students. The scholarship in which I've applied for is specially for the residents of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir students who all have done there higher studies form there only. but if we look at the fee structure compared to some other colleges of DU fee of Daulat Ram College is high.

I recently started going to Daulat Ram college since last mid year taking the course of B.A(hons) economics and paid a total of ?32,100.Thankfully being an ST caste helps me to pay lower than the other caste relieving me financially and I've also applied for NSP along with it . All the infrastructure are great and there's an ongoing construction in the college expanding the number of classrooms.

The fee structure per year for my course is 34,000 for me from the SC category and would be paying that for the coming years, other students in my class from general categories pay fees ranging from 35,000 to 39,000. i pay around fifity two thousand rupees as fee for my course, other compulcory charges are like examination fees with including practical courses. the fees of my batchmates are also the same and there are scholarships but i have not applied to nay so i dont really know. but there are scholarships like for northeasterns and then merit based and thne for people below poverty line also if i am not wrong. other than that there are also many perks or if you wish to know more you can always go to the administration office and they will let you know all about it.

The fees i paid during my first year was 36750 and my second year is 34150 and probably my third year will cost me above 30k+ but lesser than the previous one. No extra fees regarding tuition fees, caution fees etc were included during the course completion. As for my course my Batchmates paid the same amount as I regardless of categories but some different science courses from the same college paid higher than mine. For my college there is fee concession for those who need financial aid given by the college among different categories. Even if the fees are decreasing by 2 or 3 percent it's affordable but too expensive.

Actually everyone had to pay the same fees at first, later on if someone belongs to backward caste then a certain amount is deducted. For students of less family income, they get certain scholarship based on merit. However the fees is increasing every year, last the college union protested so the fees was 33000 but this year again it increased and had to pay 34100. Since it's a government college, the fees should be a little moderate so that everyone has afford. The parent department also provides certain scholarship based on merit to the unprivileged students.

My college fees for my course was 18000 per year which is for the two semesters. It didn't change nor increased since the time of Admission. It was affordable for me as the fee structure was constant.Though I belong to ST category all my classmates paid the same amount as I did for my course. I didnt receive any scholarship amount as was not aware about it.

I cannot recall the exact fee structure but in 2024,we paid 28,000 and then last year we paid 31,200 so i think it grows by a hundred every year . I have yet to ask my batchmates about their fees. I think the amount of fees depends on the accomodity of the college
