Our hostel are in old building that is one major problem and Some improvement in sports and Labs are needed

In our institute the syllabus is very much as required in industrial need.our college also arrange many seminar in a year to encourage our practical knowledge in specific fields.Seminar also taken by different industrialists and specific field experience people. many CEOs of different companies already have visited our college (like JCB India).About industrial Visit,it happens once in a year. recently we (mechanical branch) went to a Damodar Valley Corporation Project called MAITHON HYDEL STATION.There we saw real Shafts and big transformers and other real machines

In Mechanical department of our college placements are good as in this year(2019-20) already 75% of students of mechanical branch got placed.And this percentage vary in every year by 70-78%Company visited our college are-Zindal,Tata,Hero, Ashok Leyland,Honda,Bajaj, Durgapur steel Project, Hindustan petroleum and many more companies and Many Management companies also visited.Our institute have a "Placement Cell" they actually take many Seminar to prepare the students for placement season.

Mainly three fest use to take place-1.Aviskhar-The technical fest2.Arohaan-Tech & management fest3.Rectacy-Cultural festIn this fest about 100 event use to take place in each of them and every events has the prise that may be Cash, Gifts,vouchers and Coupon of Restaurants ot shops.And also other festival like Dewali, Rakshabandhan, Saraswati puja etc are aslo Conducted at students level

Fees of our college is about 70000 per semester for General students.For SC & STTuition fees are totally wave offAs our College is under Government of India and Administered by Ministry of Education. so no additional charges or Donation needed and that practice is totally prohibited here

I have availed a Education loan. it is given by Canara Bank which is situated inside our Campus.It is very easy to get a loan if you are studying in our college because it is a institute of National Importance.

As it is Engineering College and in our country Girls are hardly Choose Engineering so Gender Ratio is about 4:1In our many students societies and Clubs are there and they always organise through out the years many Competitions like singing, dancing, debates etcAlso Sports Facility are there but in Sports Facility there are some need of improvement but you can opt for any Sports also we have Jym for men and women both.

Yes, i have opted for hostels.In our Hostel 3 students can stay in one room and for final year students Single room for single student.Hostel Rent is mainly Zero but Mess fees (for food) is about 30000 annually.Here every one should be stay in Hostel. And there no scarcity of rooms

Alumni network are good in our college. An alumni meet use to be organised every year.And many alumnae are also invited in different different programs like in fests or for any Seminar based on industrial experiences. For Example Recently in our college CEO of JCB India had come to our college for a seminar and he is a alumni of our college.

One can be get into my college or can take admission in my college only through JEE-Main(Joint Entrance),JEE-Main happens twice a year. Among them your best Percentile Marks will be take into consideration. Normally JEE-Main happens in January & April.I chose this institute because I want to get into Mechanical engineering and here Mechanical Department is good as compare to other Colleges in West Bengal except IIT-Kharagpur.Admission process is so simple that after Entrance You will get result and Rank online after this Counseling will start and that is of 7 steps.

Number of lecturers including assistant professor in Mechanical department is about 35.All of them are high Qualified but some of them are not that much well to make any student understand fully.Faculties are experienced also behave friendly with studentsMany lecturers are already worked in differents industry before starting teachingso they are well known about industries and experience in industry.
