Educational institute having different technological subjects like biotechnology, engineering, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology etc. Research is going on so many subjects. Faculties are very humble and helpful. It has an active placement cell. Institute is very clean as well as it's bathrooms.

Placement Experience
Our college provided good placements in 2020, good infrastructure and facilities. Placements: Placements in our department are not better as compared to CSE. About 70-80% of the students from our course got placed. In that 20-30% of students got IT placement, and remaining students got not IT and core type placements.
College Events
As far as the academics point of view you can refer to Hogwarts proffesor Dumbledore's words. Help will always be given to those who deserve it. Yes, the professors are more or less quite friendly (not the clerks to be precise) and more so if you are interested in developing academically. The library remains open till 9 in the evening where you can peacefully prepare for any competitive exams for your future or your semester examinations. New academic building has been set up which has state of the classrooms and you will enjoy your classes their. And last of all you are surrounded by some of the brightest and humble people in your peers.
Campus Life
As far as food is concerned you are eventually going to get bored with the daily routine of the mess food. And of course there are plenty of alternatives- The Hall 5 Cafeteria, restaurants near the north gate and jhoops(opposite to the main gate). And of course there are plenty of restaurants and the Junction Mall outside the campus at a walking distance where you can enjoy your day outs. And if you are a party loving person you are going to enjoy plenty of them from birthday party of friends to job treats of seniors.
Admission
The addmission can be taken on the basis of JEE mains score.Several Rounds are conducted by JOSAA.7 Rounds takes place.The flagship program of NIT Durgapur is B.Tech in CSE. Admission to this program is done on the basis of JEE Mains scores followed by JoSAA counselling. The JEE Main Cutoff 2020 for B.Tech CSE was 436-465 for the General (OS) category. The fee for the course is INR 5.56 Lakhs
