NIT DURGAPUR campus review

Actually my elder brother also an engineer. So in childhood I am think that I also become an engineer and I appeared in jee exam and find this college through counseling. Find that this college is better in placements and etc and also in my state. So this is the factor.

I'm student of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. I prefer that course if you are interested in metal science and research program. The facility of my college is very nice they help us at each place when we need them. Academics are also very good NIT Durgapur have much more mechanical and Electrical machine for practical class than other college.

Ye I got an intership opportunity for 3D printing , the lots of internship opportunities in our college based on skills and also in max case you also get PPO and got placed .

Placement and jobs opportunities are very good. I'm also explain this in previous question. Many companies come in our like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wells Fargo, JPMC etc in coding sector. In core sector placement is bit low but companies like Tata matelliks, Aditya Birla etc famous companies come for placements

Yeh thats a very good question. actually if you live in campus it's a very good memorible time in your life. in my college the life of campus is like you faced daily challenges learn time management and lots of other things that's you never think. You find lots of friends they helps in you poor days and spent time with you. and happy when you got your job. Overall I want to say that life at the campus in specially engineering college is fill with experience they teach you how to spend your whole life. Clubs in my college is the best learning plateforms in my thinking. Here you got serious they help in you studies and give there experience and lots of technical knowledge to you. In my college almost 10-12 clubs. They based on different skills like technical clubs (SAE {automobile club} etc), dance and music club, coding clubs( GLUG, Recursion etc) etc. Infrastructure of my college is also very good they spead over approx 1.7 km2 area that have 14 hostels many acadmics buildings 4-5 food shops and 2 big ground with 1 very good SAC(students activity center)

Fee Structure is briefly devide into categories that is depends on the basis of annual income of students family like catagory A,B and C . A= annual income less than 1lakh, B= between 1and 5 lakh and C= above 5 lakh. For A catagory your tuition fee will ignore (ie >10k per sem) etc. You also find many types of scholarship like NSP, SVMCM, OASIS and other states scholarship too if you family income less than 2.5 lakh(depends upon scholarship). On campus college placements is very good for coding sector, for core sector it's bit low.

In my college sports facilities is overall good they provide us approx all types of game gadgets like cricket, badminton, hockey, football, basketball, javelin thrower and lots of things. The management is also very good and to find all gadgets process is very simple.

Hostels facilities and management groups in my college is very good. Each hostel contain 2-3 warden and one maneger thay provides all notice and facilities. Also management is overall good if your room fans doesn't work and you complain you your manager they fix it minimum 1-2 days . We not have to give any type of rent in my hostel ie wifi, electricity and water supply all are free. You have only give the mess fee aprrox 3000 per month. The quality of food is also overall good.

No, because you crack jee and appear in counseling. So you not need to appear any other Gds, interviews and written test. You go to your allotted college in the given time.
